Just see Danny Rose in Pc world (chingford). I said "well played yesterday". He didn't know what to reply. :)

I think you have hit the nail on the head here. These matches have usually gone with home form, we weren't able to make changes after a tough match midweek.

I guess the thing that upset most people was that they looked a class above us again, whereas even when we have been losing at the Emirates recently, we have been able to get some blows in on them, this one they kept us at arm's length like Mayweather fighting some bum. Fabianski barely touched the ball.

Yes, four away wins in all competitions in 30 years, you could say that.

Shouldn't people have got used to this by now? And really, if Eriksen hadn't made a balls of his chance and Ade hadn't slipped when he had a volley nicely cued up, we might have got a blow or two in.

I prefer the turgid midfield battle that we lost marginally 1 - 0 earlier in the season at the emirates. To the attack versus defence 2 - 0 embarrassment we witnessed yesterday.

If I remember correctly Lloris saved our bacon with a number of clearances which would have increased the scoreline under avbs suicidal high line in the league game so it looks like no change here.

Turgid's your thing? Whatever floats your boat.

I don't think there is any harm in preferring my team to try and get some control in the game. Rather than seeing them wiggle their arses at the goons before handing them the lube and bending over.

Well if that's the case then city away and Liverpool at home under AVB was like a party at Freddie mercury's.

Spot on. We're about £50m net spend off them. Two very good players and two good players to replace Lamela, Holtby, Sigurdsson, Chadli. All ok against bottom half sides but nowhere near good enough in the big matches.

Correct we are flat track bullies we have had problems against the big sides for some time a lot of it is imo a weak mentality.

And these Worldies you seem to think would be so much better are?

No problem with yesterdays result. we lost to a better team. at least we had a go and we were attacking we we got the opportunity. We used to say at least when we lost we played attacking football and was the case yesterday. I moaned about our style of play when avb was in charge and did nt really look forward to games. At least now I know we will have a go at scoring 3 of 4 in game even if we lose
