I don't think I have ever been more confident of a defeat in my whole 32 years of supporting Spurs.

...really? I mean I know we will lose but this is the game that your most confident that we will in all that time??

I'm envisaging an absolute storm being weathered and coming away with a very undeserved 1-2 win.

I don't see how we can win this playing as we are with and with the personnel we have missing. A draw would be a great result. Hopefully we can recover from whatever happens tomorrow and try to get back up the league again after the international break.

Yep.
  • 1 goal from open play in 6
  • Missing our best defender
  • Missing our best midfielder
  • We have Kyle Walker
  • We have Dier in defence
  • They are flying

It wasn't so long ago that walker was being talked about on here as one of the best right backs in the league and to be fair, has been one of our best players under Poch. He's cut out the brain farts he had and whilst he had a poor game on weds, he's usually been very solid.

In relation to them "flying", this is true but seriously look at their opposition in the last few weeks. They've beaten Burnley with a last minute, handball, undeserved winner, they got battered by Middlesborough, they scraped through against Swansea, they beat Sunderland who are the worst team in the history of the league and twice beaten the champions of Bulgaria who are absolute tripe. The Chelsea result was fantastic to be fair but that was still when Chelsea were a mess.

I fully expect us to be beaten tomorrow but it shouldn't all be doom and gloom. I'm probably setting myself up for a big disappointment but whilst I'm not confident, I haven't got this feeling of invincibility that some seem to have.

If we give off this vibe as fans and it transfers to the players then we are in trouble. Get behind the team, outsing those pricks and allow the team to redeem themselves.

Kyle Walker should not be one of the reasons why you're sure we are going to lose. Overall he has had a really good season so far.

Glad I'm not going to the trenches with some of you lot anytime soon.

Take comfort that Arsenal are just as big a bottle job as we are. They are there for the taking but obviously we need to be at them from minute one.

I fear we're going to get beaten like the red-headed stepchild of a rented mule.

As always I hope for a good result but have to admit that my stomach is churning over this one.

TTID whatever happens.

That would be most unNLD like

Usually it's us playing out of our skins and dominating them only for them to snatch a win or draw (unless they just piss all over us of course)

another 4-4 on the cards? who's going to replicate the Bentley replication of Nayim?

The doom and gloom around this place is laughable. We've been in far worse places in terms of build up to this fixture, nearly every time we've played them in the past 30 odd years.

This will be an open game so we will get chances. We're unbeaten and imo one or two class attacking players away from possibly being the finest team in the division.

Forget the Wembley debacle. We should not be playing games there until we 'have' to.

Can we beat this lot? Damn fucking right we can.

Not too confident for tomorrow, still not losing any faith either. I'll be buzzing if we can take a point from it.

It is not a risk to play him," Pochettino said. "If he is on the pitch or bench it's because we're sure it's not a risk to play him. In football you can't avoid risk because it's a contact sport, the doctor said he is available.

"In the last two seasons he has been very important for us, our top scorer. For us it will be very good news that he will be back.

"It is true he has a good record against Arsenal. It is important that he is back and can help the team get a good result."

Kane to start?

I don't know about the last 32 years but I do know this: last season there was not one single game - not one - which I thought beforehand that we were going to lose. Well, maybe West Ham away, to be honest, for all the usual reasons. But otherwise not one. Not Abu Dhabi FC away, not the Scousers away, not the Chavs away - none of them,
But this season, there's been only one game where I thought beforehand that we would definitely win - Gillingham. All the others I've had varying degrees of misgivings about - even Palace and Sunderland at home. Tomorrow is no different, sadly.

Kane to start?

Yeah that's great, but the downside is that shitty England will expect him to lead the line against Scotland and their hopeless coaching/ training will almost certainly hamper his progress to full fitness.
