Knee jerk reactions are fun:

Bentley was fucking awful. Lennon will sleep well tonight, having that useless bastard as his only competition. Thudd didn't have a clue what to do on the ball today, really missed having Lennon as an outlet. Did Jenas play? Not sure I saw him today. The back four lost the plot in the second half, can't believe we only let 3 in. The only guy who comes out of this with any respect from me today in Crouch. Worked hard, won almost everything. If he had any support at all we might have threatened today. For christ's sake, please let Modric and Lennon be fit for Sunderland.

Arsenal would have suffered without Arshavin, Fabregas and Van persie. Still, thats what we got a squad for! Gifted them their goals so I'm not too disappointed about the rest of the season.

they didnt create much just had 2 lucky goals, Gomes should have caught the first one and intercept the pass for the third. Gomes is a liability. I'd rather have the Stoke's second keeper.

bollocks, gomes was not to blame at all, i think its really nasty that you think he was our achilles heel today.

Must be the worst we've played all season. Too many players under par today. There wasn't the drive today. No pressure on them when they had the ball, and we gave it away cheaply far to often. Almunia didn't have a serious save to make. :-(

I thought we did quite well in that department for the first 40mins

We've definitely improved from last season, but with arguably our 3 best players (attacking at least) out, we shouldn't get too down.

Exactly how I feel. Im not sure we are top 4 yet but we are on the right path. As Ive said previously take Van Persie, Fabregas, Arshavin out of there team and lets see how well they do.

I think when Robbie started hobbling after a challange 2nd half it was a case of, get me out of here.

If we could have gone in 0-0 half time as looked likely I think it would have been a very close affair, at 2-0 with the players we had available it was pretty much impossible unless we got back to 2-1 pretty smartish.

I still think with the fab 3 playing we'd have given a much better account of ourselves, but that's part of football and we've been unlucky to have all those 3 out at the same time.

I am feeling no pain, fully expected to get beat today, and when I saw the line up, I just wasn't sure how many they would score. Harry MUST stop being so negative, he was raving about Hutton and Bale, then he picks Corluka and Huddlestone. Next week he must take a roll of the dice, Hutton attacking fullback, wingers, service and pace, is what we need. People talk about our 4 strikers, sadly 3 of them are one paced and average.

What pisses me off most is all this 'we're better than Arsenal', 'we should get 4th' bullshit from the players. Do your talking on the fucking pitch first. Its embarassing.

On the game, well if we hadn't lost it completely after the 1st goal it could have been very different. We looked out of ideas going forward without Defoe, Modric and Lennon though.

I just wish our players would stop talking the talk before these games. It make us look like a joke. Do our talking on the pitch for a change.

They have to talk the talk before the game. We don't actually believe we can win in the big games, so the only points to be had are off the pitch.
Man U, Chelsea and now Arsenal. Rubbish.
Its not knee-jerk here. We get carried away when we beat the lower teams, so when we get beat we can't keep making excuses. With the players we had out there today we should have shown more.

Huddlestone's a joke!!!

I feel sorry for him as he's shown how good he is with the ball into his feet.

It's the other players who are making him look bad by hoofing it up to him.

We HAVE to stop peddling this myth. He is cumbersome and not very good with his feet at all. Aerially he is average at best. Vermaelen and Gallas (both under 6 feet) had him in their pockets. He only ever performs against "small" clubs and "inferior" nations at international level.

Had he not been Redknapp's Illegitimate love child (why else would he love him so much?) he wouldn't get within miles of a spurs shirt.

M8 I know you've put a lot of time and effort into that but FFS I really don't want to see it again. No offence but save it for when we win games please

yes i blame him - first and third. and it is no the first time he gets scored like that. he is not good enough for a top 4 team period.

Mate, behave yourself, that's amongst the worst post I've seen on this board.
