Aside from the doom and gloom, apologies if posted, but has anyone seen Mike Dean celebrating Saha's goal?

He does it most of the time he plays advantage and it leads to a goal.

And trust me as a ref, I know it is an amazing feeling. You feel like you scored the goal yourself.

Mike Dean is very very exuberant when it comes to playing advantage.

Mike Dean did try and give us most of the decisions yesterday! I actually do think he is one of our better referees. He was jumping to see where the ball was though, surely?

Mike Dean should referee the United game.

who clearly wasn't 100% fit and was joining the game when the damage psychologically had practically been done, they had the momentum big style at that point...

So, clearly, it would have been more problematic starting him in a 4-5-1.
What would you suggest, Livermore?

Possibly yes, he done well enough at Anfield....but I recognise Harry's hands were tied to a degree with fitness issues though.

Yep. Had a similar situation myself on saturday. Didnt celebrate though . Just turned to the defender in the other half of the pitch who was still moaning about the "foul" and said "good advantage though wasn't it?". Soon shut up.

I may have went with Livermore - but, if he had and we had been biatch slapped, we would have had no knowledge of yesterday, and blamed Redknapp until the ground for playing Jake Eek

Yeah that's the problem with hypothetical situations.
