So sacking Wenger after 20 years instead of 22 (or whatever the number is) is sacking him quickly. OK thenRemember when they used to criticise us for sacking managers too quickly?? Yeah that's why because the rot can truly set-in if you don't change something.
If they'd have pushed Wenger out two seasons ago, it may have been possible for them to get on with the rebuilding job whilst they were still relatively challenging. They've allowed us and Liverpool to both surpass them in terms of management, mentality and squad, allowed United to go through their down period only to not take advantage of it and allowed City to bring in Pep and make City a force. They are now sat in 6th, totally hopeless and staring at the barrel, despite spending 100m+ on a strike force.
That's why sometimes you make quick decisions.
