Arsemania:

2-0

Shades of Bobby Zamora from Murray there. The former is one of my all-time favourite players.

I meant sacking him from the moment things started to go awry and not keep hanging on - quick, in that way
I know, but I can’t see what that’s got to do with (generally) sacking managers quickly, and I can’t see how the frequency with which we used to change managers has to do with it......... but I’ll avoid the rolling eyes smiley, there isn’t one big enough :woot:..........the circumstances don’t compare. Wenger earned a bit of leeway and although you’re almost certainly right in that he should have gone a couple of years ago, after what he’s done he’s hardly going to be sacked ‘the moment’ things started to go wrong.

But meh........he’s still there and long may that continue :D

It amuses me seeing that little runt**** Wilshire trotting around the pitch, moaning at his team mates and doing fuck all himself. His gob writes cheques his talent can''t cash.
Steady on, Agent Arsene still has work left to do and nothing more important than giving Wiltshire a 10 year contract guaranteeing him to be the club’s highest paid player. Wilshere on the team sheet as is as good as Wenger on the touchline.

I’d be surprised if Wenger does before the summer. Just can’t see them getting rid of him.

Do you think that the AFTV lads have brightoned up a bit?

Maybe the connection isn't that strong or perhaps I'm just not getting my thoughts clear but I do think things started to go awry for them quite some time ago. The dissenting voices started around about 2009 and I remember they got even louder by 2012, that is the point where they should have been making the change or at least thinking about it. Therefore I think 5 years or is not reacting quick enough and whilst we were pretty hopeless with a lot of our appointments at least we did pull the trigger before it got worse. Admittedly we were never in a strong position and had we had a successful coach maybe we'd have been more hasty, aIthough I can't imagine Levy allowing a manager, no matter how successful, that much leeway.

But, yeah, long may it continue!

When the buck stops with Kroenke it's really hard to imagine any change, especially if profits are still healthy, which they are. It'll ultimately come down to how many people are telling Wenger to stop and whether or not he will listen to them. Problem is Wenger has surrounded himself with 'yes' men, no-one to challenge him or question him. Can anyone really see anyone around him saying "Arsene, come on, it's time to retire."?

Nope, he is so stubborn he believes that he can turn it all around and his love for the club and stubbornness means that he won't want to leave on a bad note. Shame for them is that it'll only get worse! :ROFLMAO:

Yep. Jumped out the window apparently.
Henry’s reaction pre match was pretty sharp when the commentator asked “who should HE build his team around next year”....be interesting to see what his odds are in managing them next season.
