If Arsenal lose today, should we be celebrating St Arseholes day? Make it a new tradition as we’re probably going to be finishing above them for a good few years yet! £50m transfer budget every year? Ha! I can see bigger Championship clubs spending that in the next few years!

The odd thing is - and I have mentioned St Arsoles/Arseover Day more than a few times - it doesn't really bother me. Those stupid and pathetic Woolwichers made a point of shouting and hollering throughout the media for a couple of decades as it papered over the cracks in their situation.

You make a fair point there, maybe straightforward laughter at them as they continue to slide over the next decade would be a more dignified reply?

Arsene Wenger admitted that Arsenal missed enough chances to have already reached the Europa League final and claimed that his players did not benefit from playing for more than 80 minutes against only 10 Atletico Madrid players

The 10th minute dismissal of Sime Vrsaljko helped Arsenal dominate the match but, even with 76 per cent of possession and 28 shots, this first leg ended with what Wenger called the “worst possible result” in the context of his team’s chances.

“The result is not in line with the performance,” he said. “Once they went down to 10 men it destroyed a bit the flow of the game and it was not to our advantage. You come out with a bitter taste because we had the chances to be in the final tonight.
Jeez he talks utter shite doesn't he.
The ONLY reason you dominated that game was because they were down to 10 men you twat.
Even with 10 men they looked to hot for your defence.
I think arsenal will get thumped 2nd leg.
What will be the excuse then? We had 11 and wanted 10 lol.

The money in football now is obscene. It only feels like a couple of years ago and the thought of a £50m kitty would have had most fans giddy as a jizzy wizzy..........now it's talked off as paupers money!

Who on earth have they got left? Surely you'd be a bit pissed if you got to play today! It's like being the fat guy that gets picked last because he left his PE kit at home........(which was normally me to be fair) :D
If I were Aubameyang I'd be begging Wenger to drop me too so I wouldn't have to face the embarrassment.

I read he was a troublemaker and that’s why he was available for sale. I hope he really stirs up some shit next year when Arsenal struggle...

I've just been looking at their transfers from this season.... They made a three million pound net profit over both Windows. Why have they only got a £50m budget for next season? Wilshere probably leaves on a free in the summer as well.

Which will leave them £33m for a new keeper and a Wilshere replacement unless they sell more players.

They brought in a nice few quid selling the Ox pre-season and some more for Theo but the stock is dwindling
now Sanchez has gone.

They are supposed to have this famous £££'s war-chest but they don't want to dip in to it.

I think Wolves will spend more than that

So they're going ahead and buying players before a new manager has been identified, signed and consulted. They're about to find out how very difficult it is to get a manager who 1. Operates under this remit and; 2. Is able to get the best out of a squad that is essentially not his.

I hope it takes them years to find the perfect blend. I hope they go through the wringer with this search and it sets them even further back.

If we get our transfers spot on this summer we could make the gap between us even bigger.

Man Utd fans gave Wenger a round of applause when he walked out before the game. Imagine a world where you get more respect and love from opposition fans than you do your own.

Silly unappreciative ****s.
