Hope they have a horrible summer full of speculation about their players and then lose Sanchez at the last minute after he refuses to play/return to the club for pre-season.

He's got a rebuilding job on his hands imo. Lots of players in the last year of contract and lots of them aren't up to scratch. No CL means they will really have to offer top dollar to attract anyone of quality, or they will have to take punts on unknowns.

Frankly I don't think he can solve their defensive issues at all until he y'know starts seriously trying to coach defensive stability. Also, with the way their frontmen press (or don't) their backline will forever be under far more pressure than should be for the amount of talent he has at his disposal.

People writing off Arsenal because of Sanchez have probably forgotten about Cazorla. He's been a huge miss for them and yet they still got 75 points and won a trophy. Would we have done so well if Eriksen had been out for the same amount of games that Cazorla has been out.

Anyway, he's 32 now and appears to be injury prone and may never come back as the same player. There's talk of Cazorla going back to Spain. Losing him and Sanchez will be very difficult to replace and could be the difference for them finishes outside the top 4 again or not.

All the Arsenal idiots have woken up on facebook since they won the FA Cup lol.

A particular favourite was one of them (really really annoying) colourful status' saying are you watching Tottenham.

I mean really... We just pissed all over them in the league and they think one cup win can erase all that...

Just goes to show we've gotten under their skins I guess, it's silly we didn't lift that cup instead of them as we're by far the superior team.

One of the strangest FB posts I saw yesterday was so thing along the lines of...

'South London is crying... North London is red'

Which actually proves two wrongs don't make a right. Eejits.

We had Lamela out.

What is he going to do in 2 years? Next season he'll be aiming for top 4. The season after, if he qualifies, he'll be out to Bayern. It's a 2 year pause button on Arsenal. Which is great for us after improvements over the last 3 seasons.

I think they'll be much better next season. They've been in great form since going 3 at the back. Foolhardy to write them off imo.
But haven't they just done what they do every season? Start fast, look like World beaters, implode, manage a good cup run in the EMIRATES cup, wait until it's mathematically impossible for them to win the league, then find a bit of form again.

I'm not overly concerned about what they spend either, Wenger has far more misses than hits. His biggest spend to date is on Ozil, who thinks playing in Red makes him the Scarlet Pimpernel!

12/1 to win the title next year. I think that's big. IMO it wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world if they came close.

But they were 17 points or whatever off the title this year with Sanchez. I seriously doubt whether he'll be there if he does and they recruit well then that 12/1 won't look to bad I suppose but I can't see it myself.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they WILL win it, but they are spawny bastards so it just wouldn't surprise me. Having said that, if they don't start very very well, it could all also unravel very quickly.

I actually agree - provided they keep Sanchez. They can stroll through Europa group matches and concentrate on the league next fall - almost like Chelsea and Liverpool this season.
