The beautiful thing about all this is that this Arsenal team will be forever remembered as b0ttlers even though they’ve had an unexpectedly brilliant season in the PL.

Moral of the story? Don’t give it when it’s unwarranted (at us during Leicester season) because it will eventually come back and bite you right in the fucking arse. I genuinely hate social media but fuck it, I’m so happy right now because every single post everywhere from opposing fans is basically calling them b0ttlers and as we know, it’s so hard to disassociate with that tag once it’s been said.

It’s so pleasing.
This is the key thing to me and (completely as expected) I’m yet to hear anyone in the media call out that Arsenal fans propagated the misuse of the b0ttler tag more than anyone, mostly to deflect from their own February collapse when Leicester won the league. We were labelled it in 2016/17 when we won 12 of our last 13 games for crying out loud.

They can reap what they sow. 2 wins from their last 7 has nothing to do with City and everything to do with their arse falling out once they were being chased.

Am I the only one who gets wound up when we are called Spurs in league tables?

We are Tottenham, plenty of room for our proper name not our nickname

The club probably like it because we get more hits or some other bollox because of the basketball team

Have some respect, ****s

What actually does wind me up a lot is that we're never called Tottenham Hotspur.

Then they’d have to call us ‘Tottenhamy’ when we fuck up. It’s too much.

2 wins out of 7 does have something to do with City….they beat them 4-1!

Yes it irks me too, especially on the official Premier League site. Tottenham is shorter than both Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. They don't call them Villa and Palace do they?

great stuff from Arsenal invincible Keown this morning. Invincible( 4 starts and they gave him enough sub appearances to get a medal.)
to have a go at a 77 yr old is unforgivable . There is no basis to his claims about Tyler and Neville.
when United are crap they get plenty of stick from Neville. He says it as he sees it.
should we ban Alan Smith from Spurs games.
Simon Jordan must love working with Keown . He just takes him apart every time.
He just sounds so unbearably smug also you can tell he thinks that he is really clever and beating Jordan in the arguments-you aren’t you mug

Really winds me up - how about toffees or gooners etc etc etc

Clearly the club don’t mind it as it links us with the basketball team otherwise they could put a stop to it

Go Tottenham Hotspurs

That info graph Carragher was explaining in MNF just proved what I said yesterday.

They were practically unstoppable before the WC and massively benefited from only playing us and a dreadful Liverpool in the first 10 games. The two results they lost points in where 2 teams who actually had their shit together United and Newcastle.

Since the WC and Saliba's injury they had only the 10th best defence and 12th for conceding 2+ goals per game.

That is appalling for a title winning team.

Its also when they started to come up against teams who had their shit together.

Brighton should really have beaten them after xmas.

City did comfortably.

Even Palace and Leeds should have gone ahead.

Then Saliba got injured and those poor performances finally started to get punished.

This is why I firmly believe they won't be challenging again next season.

That start has massively skewed perception. They basically had a dream of an opening 15 games or so. Those defeats of us and Liverpool don't look as impressive when you consider how poor we've both been.

I like to review a team on their last few months of form as that tends to be more accurate and since December Arsenal have shown top 4 form, nothing more or special.

In fact it mirrors form from last season. Runs of wins followed by runs of draws and defeats.

In short, they've bottled it?

How can anyone say they haven’t bottled it - it has happened two seasons in a row.
Top 4 chase last season and now this capitulation- on both occasions they had comfortable leads and choked. It really is as simple as that.
It’s been great seeing Lego Heads shit eating grin wiped off his boat the last few weeks. Ha!.
