Oh get out of your own arse TM, you're usually a good poster but if all you're capable of is pretty sarcastic one liners then don't bother. I never said non ST holders weren't proper fans, I just defended the 21,000 odd ST holders who are brilliant fans from undeserved criticism.
Sorry BBL, IMO you implied it. It was also a bit patronising. Its not only ST holders that have had to make sacrifices for the Spurs cause.

And by the same token I know of one or two season ticket holders on hundreds of £ks a year who don't make a sacrifice or make much of an effort to get to games.

Speaking of ashamed and embarrassed, William Gallas just retweeted a 'spurs fan' who decided it would be appropriate to send him this message: 'fuck off you gooner ****.'

How can our own fans do that? What the fuck went wrong in their brains?

Simple answer is they do not have one.

I implied nothing of the sort, implication requires intent, I held no intent and I more than anyone on this site have castigated anybody claiming having am ST makes them more of a supporter. All I did was respond to the uncalled for generalisations being made about ST holders in a thread which wasn't even about in ground atmosphere to begin with. That a put down towards non ST holders was inferred is quite frankly nothing to do with me or my post. Was I patronising? Yes, towards those who made the initial generalisations to which I objected, I was patronising and sarcastic too. They deserved it. Then in my exchange with TM all you witness was two posters speaking at cross purposes who took slight exception to eachothers views, then sorted it out amicably once no more was left to be said, nobody patronising anybody there.

I don't post as much as I used to. It seems that people have forgotten that I'm always right ;)

P.s. I still love you Bullet, and your awesome avatar!

I'm not a ST holder but always go to 6-10 games a year. I don't see what money has to do with anything, like it's some kind of excuse to be a whinging bitch. If you've got a ST then you can obviously afford it so stop complaining. If you can't afford it, give it the fuck up.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. We need the drum. That way you can't hear the fuckers plus it might get the more silent (but not abusive) section of our fans going. Drum and more alcohol.

Oh and top OP

We're just the same as any other team and we all laugh at each other. People have different opinions and that's what makes a forum.

Some think we were good enough last year and should just have kept Bale and upgraded on a couple of other positions. Some others think we did the right thing but are still short, some thing we look great now.

Personally, I think Arsenal and Liverpool will be better than us this season, I think we'll take too long to gel. It was always going to be the risk with wholesale changes, but if nothing else, we shouldn't see any high profile departures at the end of this year and this team could grow relatively untouched for a year or two towards a title bid.

They have made more signings than us? What makes you think they'll gel more quickly, bar the extra 3 points they have on us already?

I agree with you final point though - I too think we could be genuine title contenders in the next couple of years. Eriksen and Lamela, though excellent, are still young and to a certain extent raw talents. Once they get a strong understanding and develop interplay we could be almost unstoppable!

Every club has a % of twats. I'm not sure on the exact % of ours though. I think there are more reasonable fans than not though. It's just that the idiots stand out more with their stupid comments. It happens at every game, there's always the odd idiot who shouts crap and he stands out sadly.

Personally I dont let it bother me. I love our club overall and can't wait for the next game.

Its the constant slagging off of the players that gets me, and its always the same posters who constantly moan about the same players over and over like their waiting for them to fuck up.
Every time I read a match thread, or a knee jerk thread after a match I get frustrated at having to read all the negative rubbish about them.
Spurscommunity is a great place to come and air your views but can the small % of people please dial down the abuse and constant bitching

I'm still holding out some hope that all those having a go at Chadli are just taking the piss. I mean...they have to be...haven't they? I'm not talking about people making negative observations, but those that have written him off altogether.
