If Villa had Levy as their chairman they could be doing alot better. They could've had this midfield:

Downing--Barry--Milner--Young
Meh. A vast improvement over their current one, especially now that it's sans Petrov but still a bit, meh. Top 6/7 though, no probs.

Depending on who their manager would've been. With O'Neil, they came very close to a top 4 finish in the 09/10 season. If they kept their players and built round them they could well be top 4/5.

Imagine if Sheikh Whathisface didn't take over City, imagine what the table would look like. Chelsea's and Liverpool's dip haven't been that dependent on City, so it could've been:

1. Arsenal
2. United
3. Spurs
4. Villa

No City, and Arsenal are more than likely to still have Adebayor, Toure, Clichy, Nasri and Fabregras.

1. 2-0 Tottenham
2. All things considered I would say Younes Kaboul, he's been the rock at the centre of our defence!
3. Midfield. If our 5 turn up, like the other night against Bolton, then it will be very difficult for Villa to contain us.
4. Personally speaking I don't think the England talk was the reason for our dip in form, IMHO it was a culmination of poor tactics/wrong formations/bad luck/poor finishing.
5. Yeah after Roy gets sacked at the end of EURO12
6. Not sure about a massive bust up but I do think words were exchanged between players and management.
7. No, the fans have it in for him hence he aint got a hope in hells chance of continuing next season.
8. Whether we finish in a CL spot or not I think Modric will be gone + deadwood. I have'nt got a scooby doo who we will get.
9. Louis Van Gaal or Fabio Capello.
10. Darren Bent, I was one of the few who was sad to see him go.
11. About 3000 I think.
12. No got work commitments, but given my ticket to a mate who will be attending.
13. Not at the time I purchased mine but after last nights result I expect them to be all gone by Sunday...

It should be Yanited, assnal, Us and one other (Pool, Villa, Barcodes etc). Shoud have been since 2005ish.

I'm all for renewable energies. Purely so that proffessional football gets back to be less wanky and artificial.

Brian Blessed, Brian McClure (Doug's little brother) and Brains Faggots :sneaky:

Just read my contribution - I really do need to have a word with myself about my typos, don't I!

1.What do you think the score will be? 1-3 Spurs
2.Which Spurs player has been your best this season? Kaboul probably
3.What area of the field will the game be won? Idk if a game is ever won on just 1 area of the field. If we win probably our midfield will do it, if we lose it will probably because our defense was shaky.
4.Since Harry Redknapp's media tout for England job Spurs form has dipped why is this? Took his eye off the ball, poor tactics in some games, poor mentality and lack of effort in others.
5.Do you believe Redknapp will depart in the summer for England? Obviously not anymore.
6.Any truth in the training ground bust up between players and Redknapp? There was an emergency meeting between the players and the coaches but any stories of animosity between players and Harry are made up.
7.Do you think Aston Villa will keep faith with Alex McLeish?if so why? If you're chairman has any sense, McLeish should be gone asap. But if your chairman had sense, would he have hired McLeish in the first place immediately after he relegated Birmingham?
8.What players can we expect to see depart and arrive at WHL in the summer? If we are in the CL next season, I think all our important players will stay. If we miss out I think Modric will leave. Idk who we can expect to bring in but IF we make CL I think we may pull one over Man City by getting Hazard. Long shot but Levy is capable of it.
9.Who would like to see replace Redknapp if he does depart? Capello or Ancelotti, but I don't think Redknapp will leave.
10. Is there a Villa player that fits Spurs style of play and would want to see at WHL. I'm not really sure because I haven't watched Villa recently but heard good things about Bannan and Albrighton, I think?
11. What allocation did you recieve for the VP tie and how much were you charged? Idk
12. Will you be attending on Sunday? No
13. Have you sold your away allocation? Idk

Yep. Everything seems to have gone well for us in the last week, maybe a bit too well. It wouldn't be unlike us to put in a half-arsed performance tomorrow and lose it by the odd goal in 3. However, I really believe the lads will be confident heading in to the game. One things for sure, you're fucked if we score early. I think if you're chasing the game we'll tear you apart on the break. Your best plan is to probably sit back, soak up as much pressure as possible, frustrate us, and then hit us on the break. Sounds like the McLeish way, actually.

We'll win it though. (y)

Now Arsenal have dropped two more points, a draw or loss is a nailed on certainty now. It's the Tottenham way.
