Atmosphere in Paxton end

I thought the crowd was quiet all game and there was very little atmosphere to speak of. Occasionally the Paxton gets going, but for singing and chanting the Park Lane is where its at. I don't think the amount of noise you make has any bearing on how keen or "true" a supporter you are though.

I was in the Park Lane lower yesterday. Didn't get much of a reaction from the chants to the shelf side. Which was a bit unusual.

It was all a bit subdued all around yesterday wasn't it perhaps it's because it was Sunday dinner time.

I did realise that it was a Sunday match, and everyone was a bit nervy etc...

block 48 is always chanting, well about 10 of us before we get moaned at by our own fans.

but it is a family stand and people dont seem to understand this simple fact and simply slag us off.

Don't worry, can't wait until 18th January when even the Paxton start singing "Campbell, Campbell you're a ****"

Hopefully Fraizer won't be on the pitch at the time

This debate is brilliantly Tottenham. Inter stand rivalry! I'm Shelf Upper - which is mostly quiet except for the derby games etc.

Imagine this debate on Arse - Mania? Not in a month of sundays.

whilst we're on the topic, Im coming over from Australia for the Spartak Moscow Game. Ive got tickets in the Park Lane upper stand for the Spartak Moscow Game. Was just wondering how the atmosphere compares between the upper and lower stands, and also whether UEFA cup games get a decent atmosphere compared to premier legue matches?

european games are normally a better atmosphere, should be good against spartak cause they bring a good crowd. park lane lower is a better atmosphere and upper join in.

I recently got some tickets for the Spartak game. On the day I got the tickets my dad told me to get them in the Paxton upper (for the better view apparently) and I accidently got them in the paxton lower. He had a go at me and for a bit I felt so guilty.

However, after reading this thread, I do feel so much more better.

All the Uppers are poor, esp Paxton, Shelf and West.

Park Lane is easily the best, I only sit there these days, have sat in all stands but quickly realised that Park Lane lower near the away end is where the singing is going on..

Paxton is now bloody silent, pretty much every time I go we sing "PAxton give us a song Paxton Paxton give us a song" and they never respond. I think I've heard them sing like 1 song which Park Lane didn't join in with..

Shelf Side lower near Park Lane can be good and Park Lane Upper isn't too bad. But Paxton and upper Shelf/Shelf near Paxton is all awful..

I hate fans that don't sing and can't believe we have them in Paxton. I really feel like just going and sitting there and shouting "yid army" and if anyone tells me stop have a massive rant at them. It's like half our stadium is filled with goons?! But not prepared to pay the £30 to do that..

The thing with the Paxton is that people bring their kids along, they have years of sitting there seeing the park lane and shelf singing along, so they spend years thinking "I wish I was there, it's more fun".

It's all a ploy to get the new generation to stick around.

Your not paying for other people to go so why does it matter to you if people sing?
i sing, i sit paxton upper, i still sing even after being physically assaulted for singing stick sol campbell up your arse, a father wasnt happy with the swearing.

we all love Spurs so what does it matter if some people dont sing???

when we were playing well under Jol the whole stadium was rocking yes even west upper.
