Really can't see why I'm getting negative reps. I'm not being very dimplomatic, but is the general consensus that the five fingers from Ade and BAE were acceptable and in good taste?
Or is my huge broner for Steffen Freund something bad?

Ade tweeted pictures from last year where they were doing the same thing in photos. It's their thing. He also said it was taken before the game so everyone jumped the gun slightly with the picture.

We all love Steffen. He loves us.

BAE and Ade are obviously ass****s, but falling out with Freund? That's a no-no in my book.

Agree - but we needed those ass****s.

Its not easy but you sometimes have to work 'with' people you don't like.

Terrible man-manager. It's not surprising Harry seemed to get the best out of Ade and AVB didn't.

So fuck if he did? He was the fucking manager. A simple fact that people tend to forget these days.

Clough wouldn't stand for it.

He is still with us, but with Sherwood, Ramsey and Les on first team duties where is Freund?

The announcement said he was staying as a coach, I'd guess his fate will depend upon the next permanent manager.

The truth is that many top business people act like spoilt children. Sometimes that is the strength of a company where the boss dictates and all follow since the only other choice is to leave. The problem for managers who act like that is that they are just managers and not the owners or even the CEO. You have to buy clubs, like Cardiff & Hull, to get your own way completely and have everyone bow down.

As much as JL & DL stunt the progress of Spurs on the field I shudder at the thought of what imbecile might buy the club in future when they sell

It's just amazing how incredibly immature people at the top of their professions can be.

It's a big football thing, it seems - doesn't matter who you are.

We've had Hoddle apparently humiliating young players and deciding he didn't like Rebrov when he was here, Redknapp freezing out Bentley and effectively ending his career for the ice bucket incident as well as falling out with his supposed favourite Krancjar, and now AVB and Ade/BAE/Freund.

Why can't any of these people just get a grip, grow up, and stop acting like children in the playground? If you're not happy with a player, talk to him privately and maturely, don't theaten him, work with him to get the best out of him.

It's not like we're talking about famously disruptive players (with the exception of Adebayor, whom Redknapp described as good as gold).

Because they're a select bunch of little boys, who are plucked out of the education system, given tons of money and fame, and once they retire they continue to hang out together either on the training ground or in the TV studio. Professional football is essentially one massive boys club, and the niceties of normal society don't really apply.

...or something.

On the other hand AVB did get the best out of Bale and Redknapp didn't.

There will always be shit like this going on. Freund wasn't AVB's choice. He might be a jolly german but it doesn't mean he was compatible with AVB who perhaps didn't want him chipping in his teutonic two bobs worth every 5 minutes. Freund seemed likeable but I always thought he was a bit of prick

This is business/work and football especially. It's full of big egos, high pressure and it isn't always going to be one big chillaxed suck off fest.

Look at what Ferguson has been through, coaches replaced, world class players fucked off because they pissed him off and he even sued the people that gave him a world class race horse.

This stuff coming out now is fucking predictable and tedious (someone even said yesterday it would start to trickle out as the club's PR gets into the groove).

On a lighter note, if we can get Benny back and even maybe a semi-functioning Ade up and running our squad is looking ridiculously good again.

Big if of course but we could still have a tilt at the title, imo. The talent is there. Bit of a long shot obviously.

Hardly the same is it?

Bale never got banished to the reserves. He simply developed into a world class player, and not overnight once AVB arrived.

I missed this. Why would he have been happy at Spurs taking a gubbing? He might be a little lax and clearly isn't most professional/tactful individual in the world but he has clearly grown an affection for the club.
