Just sounds like Villas Boas is getting a few things on record prior to the transfer window IMO

If a Sporting Director is hired, he's got his way & he might have a bit more clout than before, if not it's the committee and Levy again.

Really think that he's trying to manouvre Levy or at least Levy's clique away from the front line of transfers. And i'd be surprised if he was successful, and i'd be surprised if Levy relinquished any control, you feel he lives for these transfer windows.

The only thing I would take issue about in that article is that it is kinda presenting it as though AVB has decided this and is lecturing/tutoring our poor little ignorant club about it. Levy investigated this many years ago and decided this was the way ahead. He stated specifically, when Comolli wasn't replaced and Redknapp was hired, that he was putting this system into abeyance - and largely because Mr Redknapp didn't want to work under the structure. He also, at that time, intimated that his preferred option would be to return to it at a future date. As I remember it, it was referenced several times last Summer, as well, and Mr Baldini's name was mentioned then, too.

I would rather the media spread that Tottenham were being "tutored" by AVB and Levy being useless. Silent progress!

It was really odd listening to Talkshite Friday evening on the way home and hearing the presenters and actual so called spurs fans say they are unsure on AVB and that if we don't finish 4th tomorrow then he is a failure

It really perplexed me, don't they realise that if we beat Sunderland we would have scored our highest ever points total in the history of the premier league. IN ITS HISTORY!
they favourite harry never scored so many points with better players at his disposal as well as a squad that wasn't so ravaged with massively key injuries

how could that possibly be a failure? sure no champions league isn't great, and on the surface 5th isn't as good as 4th like last year but record points, record fucking points. its just unfortunate that both Arsenal and Chelsea have improved on last years points totals

I hope Bale isn't the only one given a new DeaL In the summer

Unfortunately people are fucking thick. Creates many problems, particularly when combined with greed, but it is what it is.

The only thing I'm looking forward to AVB improving on next season is the style of play and to do that effectively he needs to have a couple of his signings in crucial areas. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing, Andre.

If he's not careful, Levy will frustrate AVB so much this TW that he'll want out.
