Yeah, and we've seen clear signs of improvement on those 3 months.
Because slow starts for new strikers are unheard of.

Well, it'll be really long slow start unless we change the way we play. We can all understand Soldier needs to adapt to new country, new team and new gameplay. However there hasn't been even glimpses of improvement and it's the same old as it was for Ade, it's just the way we play.
But we didn't play like this last season, and he was still shit. You could say we didn't play well last season, which is fine, but we certainly didn't play like this.
Yep, we had another option "give ball to Bale and he'll score", but on that plan striker doesn't have that big a role.
Arguably that is a result of having a striker who isn't scoring.
Which comes back to no striker seems to be scoring under AVB and it wasn't that big a issue when we had "give ball to Bale and he'll score" option.
Or last season we had strikers who couldn't score.
And this season? Oh, it falls into category "it'll come good". It won't unless we change how we play.
I'm not saying it is just a slow start for Soldado, there are issues with the system and finding his place in it, but to suggest that AVB is some sort of striker killer with the system he plays is just wrong.
Well, the way we are playing it would be pretty hard for any striker to make impact.
It's scary that we cant score a goal using creative methods. Our last four goals have all been outside the box and the goal before that was a pen. These goals are papering over the cracks and yet there are still people on here saying that it's over the top asking for AVB to be sacked.
I really wanted him to do well but he isn't providing anything, it's the players getting annoyed and shooting from 30 yards that are bailing us out.

Just wish he would pick his best 11, play a 4-4-1-1 and stick with it for a run of games, instead of keep changing every game! or at least play 1 instead of 2 DM's in a 4-1-3-2, the problem is width, and tempo!
Supposed fans!! its getting quite tireing fella to be honest, you have pinpointed me in other posts without reading exactly what i have said!
i have never said i wanted harry back! i just want the style of football back!! i have said 4-3-2-1 doesnt work, and maybe we should try 4-4-1-1! i have also said the tempo we play at isnt working, as is the side to side backward passing, if you seriously think 1 season and 14 games isnt enough time to get it right then im sorry, but i think i have a right to be dissapointed dont you!!!
Ill say again i never said i wanted H back, but i was defending him as to his treatment by DL before the England debacle and the supposed fans you speak off, if that makes me a supposed fan, then fine...but lets be honest if there wasnt any major concerns, we wouldnt be discussing it!!
If AVB turns it round all good, but knowing DL he wont take much more of this. doh me all you want im cool
So when people don't agree with you they become "supposed" fans?
