I don't want AVB sacked. I want him to fix it. There is something wrong in society when every time things go badly you "buy a new one".

FFS We need to grow a pair here! Today was shocking but we need to turn it round.

That's the wrong comment to make on here today fella with that username.

If I realised I'd hired an electrician to fix my plumbing, I'd replace them. I wouldn't wait for them to learn how to fix something they clearly lack the abilities to do.

Wanting him to fix it and getting it fixed makes no sense to Avb, He can't see that anything is broken. Your faith is wasted on him.

For those shouting for Hoddle, I seem to recall him going on and on about the team being in a transitional phase when he was in charge. Sound familiar? That great result was always just around the corner. But it never materialised. Hoddle lost the plot when we went out of the league cup to the lower division side (forget the team now).

Not so sure he would be the correct person to come in should the worst happen for AVB. I'm ludicrously hopeful that AvB will man up and change his system. Thats all he needs to do to see instant improvement. Oh, and the small matter of picking players in their best positions….
Yeah, I dont see what Hoddle has really done since he got sacked that would make Levy think he is the answer now, apart from talk a good game on skysports.

PS That names taken buddy!

Yes I'm sure all want him to fix it, but can he? Does he even know what is wrong? I don't think he does because if he did we would have seen signs of improvement by now.

I want my Tottenham to be fixed and if the issue is the manager, then we change him. It isnt just about today, point out one performance at home this season that has been good enough?

Ali Z on COYS:

AVB is gone just a case of it being announced, personally think Chairman was looking for an excuse to get rid.

They have been putting together a list of alternatives for weeks.

Sherwood/Freund partnership is a definite possibility

They have others on the list, getting rid of AVB will be expensive. In addition it will be difficult to get a top coach mid season.Franco has made some suggestions, Levy would prefer to carry on down the route of a young bright coach with new ideas but none readily available or gettable till the summer, hence why sherwood/freund is a strong runner.

Franco trying to twist a few arms, hope he does or i am not liking the alternatives.

The problem with a new manager is that he will be largely unfamiliar with our squad. I fear the likes of Lamela and Eriksen wouldn't necessarily get a look in if the interim man has no familiarity with their work product in Italy and Holland. Capello would be interesting, as he clearly follows all of the major European leagues and I believe also speaks Spanish.

We have an excellent squad don't let the naysayers convince you otherwise. Lloris, Vertonghen, Capoue, Sandro, Dembele, Paulinhho. Soldado, Lamela, Eriksen, Holtby, are all international players for top national teams, any manager would be delighted with those players.

I disagree, he has already made changes so he obviously sees that all is not well. The guy has many faults but being a fuckwit isn't one of them. Results like today are a fairly obvious indicator to anyone that all is not well.

Don't pay too much mind to what he says in a Press Conference.

do you also want Naughton to 'fix' his inability to play football and persist with him? Or should we 'buy a new one'?

If he has no ability to manage a team why does he have the best win percentage of any tottenham manager ever, and also led us to our highest points tally in a prem season?

Andre Villas-Boas' future at Tottenham. #THFC #CFC #POR

According to a friend of Villas-Boas, the Tottenham coach is due to meet the club's board either tonight or tomorrow morning. If Tottenham decide to dismiss Villas-Boas following today's 5-0 loss to Liverpool the clubs is obliged to ensure that he is paid his net €3million salary until the summer of 2015.
€4.5million fucking bargain, that is
