I really want avb to do well, and it is way too early to judge, but he really has to stop making life hard for himself. He is asking for some trouble with some rather strange decisions. Sort the goalkeeper situation out, show a bit of bottle at home and he still gets my vote. The press and certain sections of the supporters were always going to make it hard for him, why make their job easier?

Come January if we don't buy the right players then we can start talking about getting rid of Levy, for now though AVB needs time.

How many bad performances this season. Seriously.

Mind made up, we've made a clanger so need to out him before it's too late.

Avb out, Moyes in.

Absolute joke of a season.

I think we have given him the benefit of doubt surrounding his Chelsea experience, but I'm fast believing that the level of so called incompetance shown at Chelsea is not just a one off, and this is fast infecting his perfromance at Spurs. He has taken a squad with undoubted talent and shaped them into indivduals who appear to be suffocated by his technical and motivational bull shit. I really do worry for the future based on what I've seen.

Was fully behind him but now slowly starting to think hes a dead man walking no matter what he does the club feels lifeless we are struggling theres no spurs trait's to this team hes killed the way we normally play the players look exhausted and clueless with the tactics atm.
levy has made a cock up i think it was too big a risk and i think andre is a lovely bloke but hes best off trying to rebuild his career away from england he is just not liked here and hes never going to be given the time to change and turn things around.

The friedel & lloris thing is starting to over shadow everything i think its what ruined the atmosphere before we ever started today with fans unhappy with the team selection so they were refusing to get fully behind the team. We are lacking the bit of spurs class in the team without luka or rafa or even dembele we dont have that player that can can do those magic flicks and so on!. It says it all our most eye catching moment today was probably our defensive midfielder doing a drag back pass and flick.

4-2-3-1 < next this is not working we dont have the personnel to nick 1-0 wins which this tactic is designed for its just not working at all its too rigid spurs are better when we are going for the throat so to speak.

I have never seen a spurs team so poor on the ball and so scared of the ball it says it all when young tommy carroll comes on and hes the only one that wants the ball the crowd are not helping this by terrifying the players by scolding them everytime they make a mistake our team is young and on a learning curve we are killing the confidence by booing and moaning and grumbling at everything they do.

what would i do to try and fix it? 4-3-3 is probably the only thing we could try but arguably next week against city we probably do need the solid 4-2-3-1 tactic to try and holding on against them either wise we will be killed but for arsenal i would like to see us go 4-3-3 and go for the throat they cant defend atm.

the team from now i would go with is

--------------Lloris---------------
Walker---Caulker---Vertonghen---Naughton
-------------------------------------------------
------------------Sandro----------------------
------------------------------------------------
---------Carroll------------Dembele---------
------------------------------------------------
Lennon--------Adebayor----------------Bale-

if moussa is not fit i think i would go with iago or even try vertonghen in midfield its just not working there at all.

Huddlestone,Dempsey,Sigurdsson are just not working for reasons unknown to man and need to be dropped

Least with the formation above we might be able to hold onto the ball i wouldnt mind even recalling Jenas! least he retains possession.

Overall though i think its not going to be long before Avb is out if we lose versus city and arsenal i can see the axe being sharpened the fans are baying for blood and his position will become impossible i feel for the man i honestly do but its just getting laughable sometimes it just doesnt work for you in some countrys. Its become a struggle to watch spurs it physically bores me in my 21 year life time i can never ever say thats happened before.

Something is not right and his inexperience is showing after all he is still learning himself and maybe he was just lucky with porto if you look at the players he had?.

But then even if we do get rid of him who do we replace him with?

Harry? to save our season? - yeh thought not
Moyes? - think he would be nuts to take this job
Sherwood? - well hes the only option i guess?:
Martinez? - hopefully not

I know this sounds a bit odd, maybe i am having a mad moment but i really do think he needs some guidance from an older head, someone who has been around the game, someone with a finger on the pulse of how the fans are reacting to the Llorris situation, the stubborn formation situation, he is very naive and if armchair managers like us can see if you are chasing a goal, then you need your two best strikers on the pitch. It really is a worry.
I work with a Chav season ticket holder and he said AVB's substitutions were the most bizarre choice's he had seen at the bridge, i am backing AVB and he has been dealt a blow with creative players going and injuries but he has to clear his head and start attaching some logic to his choices otherwise the booing will get worse..

I disagree. Substituting Defoe was the right move - he offers absolutely nothing when he isn't scoring. The mistake was starting with him in the first place - then everyone would have been happy when we brought him on as an impact sub and could sing their little Jermaine Defoe, He's a Yiddo song

Today's performance was shit, but we are still 5th in the league, even though he didn't get the players he wanted.
Good job so far IMO.

We won't be when we're spanked by City and Arse.

Levy has is as much to blame and in short where wasting our time arguing with this little dwarf in charge.

Things aren't going well. Levy fucked us over big time this summer. Not by sacking Redknapp (correct decision) or by appointing AVB (a dubious decision but who else was there, Rodgers?), but by buying a mixed bag of bargain basement pish in the transfer window.

Clint & Siggy are a joke in poor taste and I'm sick of the sight of both of them already.

We're 5th in the league and it's a joke of a season.

You have to laugh, I suppose.

Yes we weren't good today, and our performances have been a bit jarred so far, good at times, not so good at others but there are reasons for that.

We have a new manager, new system, new players and the old players getting used to each other, gelling, etc.

We have massive injury problems which just got even worse today with the Sandro injury.

The combination of these things have hindered us to say the least. It's early days yet. Don't panic.
