Seeing who the author was for this thread, I had a tingling sensation that either the dislike, spam, wtf or doh was going to pressed by myself with immediate effect.

Pleasantly surprised.

An article a while back had a direct quote from two people high up in the club who said 'we think he is a fraud'. When have you ever heard a manager being called a fraud?

Two people in our club called him a fraud, really?

Wow. That's something to hear. Especially when the manager is still serving, they trying to undermine him?

"yet we are still in the race, it shows how poor the rest have been tbh."

And yet with two games to go two more points would give us the highest ever fifth placed points total since the premiership began. 12 times out of 17, 68 points has been enough (or more than enough) to finish in the top four.

Great the Martin Jol Brigade have come back and they have a new hero and his name is AVB. What is it with this section of our fans? Anybody who is average they just latch onto them in some homoerotic obsession. I for one believe now that the rumours circulating about him during his time at Chelsea were true and that his underdstanding of the game is very limited and the small knowledge he has is from books.

An article a while back had a direct quote from two people high up at Spurs who said 'we think he is a fraud'. When have you ever heard a manager being called a fraud?

That is one of the most pathetic posts I've ever seen on here,and that's saying something.

You believe John Terry and Frank Lampard over Jose Mourinho and Sir Bobby Robson? Hope really is lost for you.

I disagree slightly Chelsea have been better at times but season they have pulled jammy wins by their strength of character.

I don't mean performance wise, I'm simply looking at points and league position. The good news is while we may be no better of in that sense we've probably got the most potential next season, whereas I don't think Arsenal and Chelsea will improve much.

Chelsea will improve, they'll drop a Russian shed (I think they call it a nuclear silo) full of cash on strikers and a manger, be it Klopp or Jose.
Arsenal will just be Arsenal, the workers revolution will continue, all the players will be paid the same and they will not break the bank for quality.

I feel that ENIC/Tavistock need to pump some cash from other business areas into Spurs to counteract challenges that will come from Fenway Park as they may see the current situation in Manchester as a chance to break the bank in the hope that they can destabilise United

Here you go fellas, the quotes written by Mick Dennis in the Daily Express;

There are insiders at Tottenham who are sneeringly dismissive of AVB.

They are not those with power, admittedly, but at least two men who have the ear of those with power think the young Portuguese is a fraud: his reputation as a coach being based entirely on one season with Porto – a club who had won before him and have continued winning since he left.

Sigh.

I'll let you in on a little secret of how disreputable tabloids work. They twist and manipulate quotes to suit their needs!

I'll give you an example;

WoodGreenSpur is acting like an utter bumder this evening

Mick Dennis in the Daily Express
WoodGreenSpur in gay sex shocker

That is how they get half of their stories, the papers worth being less sceptical about don't cost less than 50p

Ok you're right. All hail the Daily Express. His results, league position, interviews etc etc are all a hoax. Thank fuck for the Daily Express for bringing us all into the light and delivering us all from this evil.

The only thing pathetic is you and your clueless mates with this AVB love-in.

It's not just AVB though. It's a whole collection of backroom staff, and there is a lot that they (including AVB) have achieved this season.

There's certainly room for improvement, however he's a young manger that is willing to learn. He's worked directly for two brilliant managers, and there's a lot of reasons to be optimistic. That's not a love-in or blind faith.

Didn't those quotes come from Tim Sherwood anyway? The man Hoddle pretty much fired for being a complete and utter fucktard
