No thanks.

But hopefully Chelsea will now proceed to shoot themselves in the foot by only giving managers 1 year to win the league/champs league and remove any manager who fails to fulfill that mandate, thus creating the sort of instability at the club that could make them quite vulnerable across the season as a whole.

The Real Madrid mandate. Oh the pressures of Champions League.

Will Spurs go that route? Or will Levy look to Arsenal and Manchester United for the continuity bonus?

Really? I'd say he's been as good as Mourinho, if not better. Only losing the Champions' League final on penalties. Not to mention that in terms of Premiership results since he took over, he caught and overtook United - it was Mourinho's results that lost Chelsea the title.

An ounce more luck and they could have had a treble, he has had a hugely successful season even if the trophies don't back that up.

Completely agree that Grant has had a good season Disconosebleed, but there is no way Grant will be joining us as Director of Football. Comolli has just got his man in charge, and he and Levy get on well from reports from Dan Ashcroft.

Oh absolutely no way would we go for him...just righting a few wrongs about his supposed poor performance. They play marginally more attractive and unarguably more successful football under Grant, if he had any kind of media persona, positive or negative, he would still be in a job right now.

Firstly it would never happen.

Secondly it would be ridiculous as Comolli hasnt been that bad, and Grant has not shown any ability with Chelsea at signing players, he has just shown himslef to be a decent manager. Big difference

He is the most boring man in the world - imagine the motivational speech he would give at half time - he could'nt motivate anyone to run through a wet tissue never mind a brick wall.
If Jose had been manager they would have won the Champions league final!
Anyone who paid £15 million for Anelka does'nt deserve a job in football,as a manager,a d.o.f or as a scout!

The Irony is that Mourhino couldn't get Chelski to the final, whereas the boring A Grant did. If not for Terry missing the final kick he'd have won...how very unlucky was that!
