I don't why Ekotto was so serious with Corluka, but it's for sure not good to see him reacting like that with Corluka, so this is the 2nd behavoir story for him this season after clashing with a fan earlier this season which let me worry about his morale while it is vital time for us !

by the way, after the rift, he also lost possession once and made poor cross before that good assist. I thought Harry would subs him for Palacios and switch Bale to LB and Modric LM. Good we won & Ekotto assisted goal winner as if he didn't, Redknapp would be under fire for not subs him earlier !

Prehaps he just doesn't like him? What we as fans forget is that for them its a work place and im sure we all have colleagues we are more tolerant of than others. Prehaps if a different player had a work in his ear it might have just been a nod of the head and a stroppy walk.

The way he reacted was wrong, but im sure there must have been a certain amount of provication.... Still nice to see some fire in the bellys. at least it wasnt a bowyer - dyer esc incident.

Appreciate the fair play from Fuller, going in between them.
He could easily have let it escalate, which might have had the ref sending someone off.

Don't mind a bit of passion, as long as they forget about it tomorrow.

I don't buy this "shows he cares" argument.
BAE lost it big time and almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
His cross for Niko doesn't make up for this but goes someway to making up for the stupid penalty he gave away.
If we have big games coming up we'll have to ask if we can depend on him.

I really dont think its a big deal. They will get over it, BAE will be told to save it for after the match and it probably wont happen again

Is it really 'passion' though? Its more petulance between the two of them. And it actually seemed to affect our play, we played poorly after it when Stoke were at the time down to 10 men, culminating in giving a penalty away. There was also a moment when Bassong was caught in possession looking for BAE to give him an option.

I don't care too much that it happened, however nobody seemed to put a stop to it. Dawson as captain needed to step up and tell the pair to cut it out. The team needs to be on the same hymn sheet, no matter what. Especially at this point in the season.

I was a little dissappointed the other players, especially Dawson, didnt knock their heads together and tell them to get their act together. Any decent captain would be fuming and would assert their authority. We really lack strong leadership..

People are always having a go at team mates for not passing or taking the wrong option in their eyes, so what corluka did was normal it happens hundreds of time every game, i think corluka was pissed off by BAE lack of respect.. I mean I did'nt see anything wrong with shooting but i did'nt like the way BAE responded they should be at a point where they are maturing, its not really a good example for kids watching.
BAE seems to have a bit of an anger problem lashing out at a fan, using 'martial arts' on brown and now this.

Dawson is the closest we have to one. I do hope we think a little more about the mentality of the players we bring in. Im sure Wenger does when he signs players. Im hoping that if Sandro signs he'll be a future spurs captain.
