I know most of yours will have seen this, but being at the match, I have yet to, and I was wondering if anybody else had noticed Gareths black eye. Is it from the two Sagna elbows, or from Terry yesterday?

I like that "I'm sure his house is full of champagne... and he deserves it!"

Good fun.

Not sure what happened to Bale's eye though. Flailing elbows from full backs unable to stop him any other way I guess!

That bird is well annoying (thought not particularly in that clip) and I'm not entirely sure what the point in her is.

If its to look pretty they could have found someone better (and less irritating).

Its a very US thing. ESPN have a bird like her at the side of the pitch during NFL games, only there she has about 100 players and coaches to chat to during the match, bit pointless during footie though.

If you're talking about the thing under his left eye, im pretty sure that's a cut that he picked up at Wembley last week, or at least before then, because im fairly certain i subconsciously spotted it when i got back from the game and watched a few bits of it on Sky +

Daws comes across as such a top bloke compared to so many other footballers

I think the point of her is to interview people. She doesn't irritate me. That being said I don't think any other interviewer that Sky, ITV or the BBC have irritate me.

Has anybody noticed that she appears to give referees permission to go out onto the field before the kick off.

Thats the bit I find irritating. Maybe its the whole premise of her being there rather than her herself. I mean, basically, the commentator says the teams, the history and whats at stake, and then hands over to her on the touchline where she pretty much just says, "the teams are in the tunnel, lets go".

Apologies to Coyboy - I'm sure she's lovely. I still find her annoying though.

during the danny rose goal celebration against arsenal, i believe dawson accidentally lamped bale in the face to stop him from celebrating and getting him to concentrate as a***nal had already taken kick off...could explain the black eye, not so sure though

It's ok mate, my Dad is always taking the piss of the questions she asks and they are sometimes rather pointless but no worse at all from Sky. I find Shreeves so annoying, but she has asked some good questions- she challenged Fergie once after he only played Rooney up front and got a bit of a defensive reply!

She doesn't like Redknapp at all.
