Don't worry SK, I got your back.
I agree with you
I agree with you
Keys was slabbering all summer on TS that LM would be a Chelski player before the TW closed, DL would cave in etc a la Berbatov. That was the end of his credibility with me. Tosspot.
But he's already scored more league goals and made more assists than any previous season and we've still eight games to go...... Only one midfielder has scored more league goals this year - Lampard, and he takes pens.
He doesn't do my nerves any good either. Half the time he goes down looking like he's shattered every bone in his body, leaving me thinking he's out for the season, only for him to back on his feet chimping about as happy as Larry 2 minutes later.
As for talk sport, they spout crap all day long, everyone of them!! Its their job, keeps everyone listening and they do it well. if you dont like it dont listen to it?
I never said I didn't like Talksport. I seem to be going against the general concensus here, but I like listening to it and there's obviously 3 million other people who tune in regularly. I heard them taking Bale's interview out of context and posted about it. Talksport have been generally heaping praise on Spurs this year (like most of the media) so this morning's comments by Keys were out of order, that's all.
At diving?
I think he's been disappointing this season. I could count the number of fantastic performances he's put in for us this season on one hand.
A lot of that is due to the opposition working extra hard to cancel him out, but it's also down to his unsuccessful new role as a meandering headless chicken, as well as his general lack of effort at times.
Don't get me wrong, I love Bale and when he's playing well he's unstoppable, but most of his performances this season have been a let down.
I just came here to post that, and i hate it when something funny gets lost at the bottom of a page :lol:From the Mash: http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport...nnerear-problem,-says-redknapp-201203094991/
Bale has inner-ear problem, says Redknapp
HARRY Redknapp has defended Gareth Bale’s precarious goalmouth balance, claiming the midfielder has an inner-ear issue.
Silverback Bale has been criticised for his Tom Daley-esque levels of diving but the Spurs manager said that he simply has an allergic aural canal reaction to goal netting that makes him fall over a lot.
Tottenham stadium announcers have tried to lessen the impact of each tumble by accompanying them with the sound of swanee whistles and timpani drums, as well as giving the footage to You’ve Been Framed with a £250 charity donation for each clip.
Redknapp said “You also have to remember that Gareth is Welsh so the sight of all the electric lights and women without beards is bound to make him a little giddy, especially when we’re 1-0 down.”
The FA has investigated the allegations of Bale’s variable interactions with gravity and is considering introducing a new booking offence as a result.
In addition to the current offence of ‘simulation’, players may now be booked for ’full surround-sound, scratch & sniff, 3-D CGI deception’.
Spurs face Everton at Goodison Park tomorrow and the Merseyside club have installed grab rails along the touchlines of the pitch to help the unsteady Spurs midfielder.
Redknapp added: “I think if Gareth was English there wouldn’t be all this fuss and it’s only the fact he’s Welsh and therefore technically another species that he’s singled out.”
i never understand why people say he isnt having a good season, usually spurs fans. this is quite easily his best season at the club
Better than last season? You're having a giraffe.
Because stats tell the whole story?stats say otherwise
2010/11 season
11 goals 3 assists (in all comps)
2011/12 season with 11 games to go not including maybe 3 more FA cup games
10 goals 10 assists (in all comps)
guess I'm having a Giraffe indeed
Because stats tell the whole story?
Simple fact is, performance wise, Bale shone during the second half of the 09/10 season the first part of the 10/11 season. Basically, the whole of 2010.
He hasn't come anywhere near close to matching that consistent level of performance since then.
