Anyone else flick over at half time of the England game to watch Wales?
Bale done this run (just before england was about to kick of 2nd half) and aint kidding he literally beat the entire swedish team on his own. Was a run that started from the edge of the own area and just went straight through the middle of the pitch! actually the nuts - kid is amazing.
if anyone knows were could find a video of it - brilliant to watch!!!!

p.s. From 'Arry Rotknopf interview in this months 'Hotspur' magazine.
Question about BAE and Ba;e and playing Bale on the wing, 'Arry's answer is:
"Yes, it's a massive dilemma, two great left-backs, but that's a smashing dilemma to have! Gareth has done brilliantly but Benoit is also a top, top player. Gareth is great coming on to the ball from left-back and it's a different position, wide left. It's a possibility but we've Luka Modric and Niko Krankjar in that position." (the highlighting is mine - just the pertinent bits, for you:wink.
Hope that clarifies thangs in your mind for you:grin:
p.s. I have also read a quote about 'Arry being very big on playing players in their preferred positions (can't find it just now).
Fair play top work SP
I don't know who started it, may have been 'Arry, or Jamie or maybe even Paul Merson, but if a player is now good they are a top, top player. Does it really need the extra 'top' to emphasise the point?
