We have a lot of up and coming young talent on our team. When you watch them play, you can tell they are not even close to their peak.

I personally feel like Kyle walker has the most potential on the team. He is only 20. he is the fastest player in the prem. He has the drive and endurance of scotty parker. When he figures how to defend properly, he will be worth more than bale. In 2 years, he will be the best defender in the world. you can bookmark this thread.

I think Sandro will be the best defensive midfielder in the world one day

I'd have to say Sandro, though it is too early to tell with Walker and Caulker.

Bale could well end up being one of the world beaters - and probably will - but I'd say Sandro has a touch of the Viera about him, and when he's at his peak he'll become the stuff of legends.

Tough one.

I'm going with Sandro, although Bale and Walker are close behind. And as for Caulker, who knows? This time next season we could be proclaiming him as having better potential than King, such as the progress he has made.

Bale is already a world star. Sandro and Walker are very much in the 1st team plans... so what potential? They are all wanted by the biggest clubs if available. Caulker? yeah sure he has potential. He is playing well in a Swansea team that is doing well in the league.

All four are phenomenal talents who we are lucky to have at the club, but I would say that Bale and Sandro appear to be marginally ahead of the other two as it stands. Have to bear in mind that Caulker is a couple of years younger though.

Tough choice between Sandro and Bale.

I think Walker has the potential to be our Gary Neville, a consitent RB who will never let us down. Caulker I hope can become good for us but I guess we will see next season.

Bale is already world class but there are a lot of world class wingers around, its whether he can bring that consistency into his game, he is starting to show it this season.

Sandro is a beast and is amazing at everything...nevermind best in the world in his position, he is just the best in the world.

The fact that we are having this conversation shows how far weve come, but also with these please being so young, how far we can still go

Bale keeps adding strings to his bow.

He was a left back that liked to get forward when we bought him. Then he was an out and out left winger. Now he's one of the most complete footballers in the league.

The thing that would improve him would be his workrate off the ball. He has less balls than Robbie Keane and is probably the laziest player we have when we're not in possession.

I think they're all rather jolly marvellous to be honest.

Not sure if he is becoming a complete footballer. I believe he is closing to evolving into a Welsh Ronaldo, a leftback turned winger turned goalscoring WF/Striker. For me, the thing for him to improve is to actually learn to use his right foot. If he can use it effectively, he will be unbeatable. Nobody can be lazier than Pav when we are not in possession.

And to answer the thread, I do not know who will be the best but I am pretty damn glad that they are all playing for Spurs. This proves that our transfer strategy has been pretty spot on and effective. COYS!

Caulker, if he is indeed the next Ledley King.

We never lose with King starting, so if Caulker = King then once he comes into the side we may never lose again Eek

Gareth Bale's current rate of development could see him be one of the best midfielders the world. It's hard to look beyond that, though I do love each of them.

Really hard to say. So far Bale's the only world class player of them - but he sure got plenty of things to learn: i.e. to shoot with his right foot, not panic as he did twice when he blasted 2 stone wall chance (one a hopelss shoot far wide of goal when Ade was better placed) and he need to get more "balls". He's no-where near Ronaldo yet though - but he's closing the gap.
Sandro is could well turn into the best CMF in the world as he's got an all-round game that's very rare for an class CMF.
Walker still got lots of work to do on his defense before he can be labelled world class - though he did well defensively yesterday. He's great going forward but still his main task is to defend.
As for Caulker, well, it's too early to say and CB tends to develop later than other positions as it's such a touch position to play in.
But should those 4 players develop as all Spurs fans hope for, and Spurs can keep them and Modric and sign Ade and get a top goalie (Friedel is fine but I still would like a younger up-grade)....then the future is lilywhite...

I think it is a no-brainer. As good as I think Sandro will be, he is not in the same league as Bale. Bale is a special player.

Three of them are already vital cogs in the best Spurs team I've seen.

Caulker could well be in a year or two, he is a fantastic central defender for his age.
