Yup...maybe AVB has got them practising free-kicks, and with a bit of luck we will actually convert a few (y)

Cracking free kick too, quite Cristiano Ronaldo-esk i think. Needs to put more away like that for us and maybe now VDV is gone ( ) he will as they're both left footers.

He's been practising imho. He fancies himself as a bit of a Ronaldo.

He was always good at them anyway, well atleast for a young player, and I think he should have taken a lot more in the last few seasons. How many di Rafa score? as much as I love him.

There's no doubt he's been practising them and been trying to hit them like Ronaldo. From the walk back to the stationary stance to the tip-toed run up and the way he hits the ball.

Bale has always been our best free kick taker IMO but had been shoved off that duty by Rafa. Even Defoe shoved him off free kick duty with a well positioned one in the last game. I really hope that he will be our established free kick taker, even if he doesn't score one I'd like to see him take the next (in the same game). Although I did forget that Sig has scored a few too.

Doesnt matter. Will be business as usual for Spurs. Bullets and rocket free kicks for your country and former teams usually translates to loopy balloons 5m over the bar for Spurs

Even I would have fancied that against a poor keeper, dodgy wall and just generally a poor team. Mind you Wales are even worse, didn't Serbia got 8 out of 10 internationals without scoring lol

Last time Bale took a free kick for us I think it was tipped around the post

So he's got that out of his system then! Perfect time to come back to Spurs.
