yes there are a good chance for him to change next season while there are a lot departures in summer.

while Lee is one of these players could leave as his contract ending in 30 june. But i hope he won't get No.3, I don't like this No. for possible LM option :) I would love to see 11 or 16 or 22 ( his No. in Saints ) or 23 ( like Ziege ) ..

Bent is 23, though he should be 11

i think it's policy at the club not to change the player's T-shirt number while he is at the club. I feel about that when i read only a few changes every year. Bent could get No.11 , but he didn't because Mido was under contract here ( although we knew he will leave )

it is the same for Richads ( from 36 to 6 i think ? when Perry left ) , Davies ( from 29 to 7 when Anderton left ) , Keane ( from 22 to 10 when Sheringham left ) .

If we signed new striker soon and Berba saga continued until open day of next season, I'm sure we won't give our new one No.9 .

we aren't doing what chelsea did for Gallas/Ballack :)

I'm fairly confident that Glberto will be the first choice LB at least for the start of the season (purely because if Bale is, I think he might 'do a kaboul' - it's a lot of pressure) so I think you might be right.

I just got back from JJB, decided on Keane 10, shirt is quite nice, much prefer this seasons kit though!! Am I right in saying this kit is with us for 2 years though?

Also JJB did not know what type of lettering/numbering to use, idiots!!

no, no kit is with us for 2 years - we get 3 new ones every year, which imo, there should be an FA rule against.

nice one  my whole family is from around that area (although my dad was born in Salford which unfortunately makes him a Manure fan)

Yea I enjoy looking forward to the kits, but they could still have an unveiling every year - just alternate home one year with third/away the next. I still think they'd do as well on shirt revenues.

exactly, I bet alot of people are put off buying one cos they change EVERY kit EVERY season!! I like these kits, I can get into a large, and the XL is way too big. Not bad as in the old Kappa ones I had to get 5XL..

So do you live in Northampton then?

I live in Sheffield now, but I was born there & a load of my aunties, uncles and cousins are still there so I'm a frequent visitor

Try to get to a few cobblers & saints games per year too !

Well I'm originally from Darlington (half way between York and Newcastle) so I dont support the wobblers, prefer Darlington. But I hate all North East teams, especially the boro.

Never been to a saints game, not really a rugby fan. But hopefuly Darlington will get promotion via the play-offs so I can go watch em at Sixfields next season

It's a toughie with Bale depending on where Ramos wants to play him next season.

No idea though really as Ramos seems to want to overhaul things so who knows...???

Probably stayers:

8. Jenas
10. Keano
14. Modric (sure this has been confirmed)
15. Steed
26. King

The rest need to be rejiggled...

28. Hutton - should be no. 2
39. Woodgate - should be no. 6
25. Lennon - who knows? Will he be no. 7? Will he stay?

Plus..

1. New goalkeeper
3. Whoever plays left back
4. Is Zokora staying? In which case he'll prob keep number and new defensive midfielder will get other number 12+
5. Kaboul prob going who's gonna replace him?
7. As above Lennon? Bently?
9. Please let Berbs be wearing this but otherwise Eto'o?
11. Surely Gilberto won't be wearing this?

I could go on but I won't bore ya any longer!

It does kinda show how unsettled our squad is at the mo in terms of who's gonna be there next season...!!!
