He also said he'd like to play him against Milan in the first leg. He also said he'd like to sign Aguero or Rossi in the transfer market.

Redknapp saying he'd like something to happen is no more an indicator of future events than me saying I'd like a blow job from Jessica Alba.

It certainly cheered me up to entertain the idea that the penny might have dropped for Redknapp.

It dropped a long time ago I'd imagine but it's no good selling all your strikers if you can't replace them with players of superior quality.

Remember when we sold Defoe, Keane and Berba in the space of six months and ended up bringing in Frazier Campbell on loan?
