A lot of specialists work both for the NHS and then do private work as well. The benefits of going private for a procedure are shorter waiting times and a nicer (cleaner) hospital. But you could well get the same specialist had you waitied it out on the NHS.

Looking forward to seeing him after a pre-season with Ramos, Gus and Alvarez. He has a pretty good engine on him anyway, but seeing how others have progressed (i.e. JJ) I can't wait to see the impact they will have on Bale.

I think we will probably enter next season as the fittest team in the Prem, I can imagine pre-season will be like a military training camp. A bit different to this year when we came into the season amongst the most underprepared and out of shape teams (along with Derby). It'll also be a better chance for Ramos and the team to assess the season and squad better and get the team exactly how they want it.

my grandad is having his ankle amputated on the NHS by the same specialist who is rated as the best in the private feild as well. For Grandad he's just dressed a little shabbier than normal.

I hope so. Do you reckon Alvarez and Ramos will make them shave their heads? I'm not sure Berbo would be OK with that.

I've forgotten whether he was injured during Jol's time or after Ramos's arrival. Anyone can advise?
