Sickened me watching that.

I wish him well but this badge kissing is disrespectful to his former club .
What a sycophant, sure I feel sour , sour because he sold out pretty quickly. Money talks I suppose
Badge kissing should only be warranted by long service and loyalty. Bales loyalty is at the end of a cheque book.

Viva Los Spurs!
Viva Barca!

Maybe it's just me but I didn't find it disrespectful. Also if madrid offered Bale the exact same deal as us he would still pick madrid, to say otherwise is delusional, so I doubt you can say he sold out.

Bale's behaviour this summer has detracted from his wholesome, home-loving boy image, and his thanks to the Spurs fans in his Madrid press conference was insincere and hypocritical.

His behaviour this summer has been akin to that of Berbatov and Modric before him. Berbatov went on strike; Bale didn't report for training. Had he not been injured, I have no doubt that Bale would have refused to play. Modric agitated for a move, so did Bale. Although Bale didn't yap to the media in the same way as his pig-shit thick croatian erstwhile and future colleage, his agent did. The agent who works on Bale's behalf and who Bale could have instructed to keep his mouth shut and not play Madrid's media game.

So I thank Bale for his play and his goals. I can't blame him for wanting to play for Madrid; it's a good career move. But I can - and do - blame him for the way he has conducted himself and allowed his agent to behave. He has revealed himself to be just another manipulative, mercenary twat. Good riddance to him.

He doesn't strike me as someone that from his childhood was a diehard supporter of any club. And that's fine. The badge-kissing doesn't bother me in the slightest - I really don't think he loves Real Madrid, it's just a symbol of the top echelon in the game for any player, excluding diehard childhood fans of their club like Gerrard. Bale's journey from 3/4 years ago has been spectacular...he's probably more surprised than anyone! I think he's just excited by how far he can go. Good luck to him, he's done great things for us in many, many ways - it's been a great exchange and he acknowledged that.

I wouldn't be surprised if real told him to do it as it was all about the show yesterday, I still didn't like seeing it though

There are 85 million reasons why we have to move on..... Think I'd kiss a lot of things for 300k a week...

He's gone. It's done. Get over the badge kissing. There is basically no loyalty in football anymore. Enough of Bale (could've gone in his thread) and focus on after international break and the new Tottenham team.

I thought it was amusing that it was Perez who held up the shirt, rather than Bale (at least in the footage I saw), who was reaching over to barely touch it. Says everything about how that club is run - they collect players like trophies.
