Simple really, who do you think should win?

Maybe this will help you decide:

Voted Ribery because I think it should be. However I am pretty sure it will be one of the other 2. (Ronaldo)

I think they'll use Messi's injury problems as a chance to give CRonaldo one.

What strikes me from those stats, though, is that if Messi had as many shots in total as CRonaldo did and his return rate stayed the same he'd have over 80 goals!

edit: I think Ribery should win though, chances created from him is insane!

The dribble / run and crossing difference is crazy for me

No wayyyy, Ribery absolutely killed it last year! Look at those dribbles and chances created!
Robben missed the penalty that could of beaten dortmund, missed the open goal and he did something else. Then in the champions league he missed the penalty that would of won it. Then he fell out with the Dutch National side and got booed by bayern fans after signing a contract extension.

Then to change his playing style, no longer being greedy and working his bollocks off and being a big player in the barca and Dortmund with a man of the match performance in the final.

Well I can say I never saw that coming

All valid points, but it also includes this season during which Ribery has been a beast. Ribery is the main man at Bayern, no doubt about it. He makes them tick. Bayern have a harder job filling Ribery's spot when he's out than they do Robben's, believe that!

Apparently Ronaldo is turning up this year (something he hasn't done for a while)

And they are pretty much taking this as a sign that he's won it.

I've got a German mate on my team that never shuts up about Ribery. He's a big Bayern fan. I was wondering Lufti, are all Bayern fans completely up their own arses? He can never accept them not being the best, or them not having the best players etc. Even when Dortmund won the league he was harping on about a conspiracy to stop Bayern's dominance. He drives me mad.

It's a tough one bud. They have such a ridiculously large fan base that you're always going to find different types. In general though, their fans are known as the worst in Germany (though they'll still probably out sing most teams in England it has to be said). But they literally boo any game they don't win, and they expect to win every game they play in Germany, bar none. Anything but a win is a bad game for them, regardless. A draw against Dortmund is probably the only game they wont boo which they haven't won. The thing is, they're such a more decorated team than any other in Germany, their opinion of themself is to some extent justified, and although they're the most hated team in Germany (everyone who doesn't support Bayern supports Bayern's opponents - a lot of Schalke fans would even support BVB against them), they still get support from most Germans when playing in Europe because there is a recognition of what they've done for the Bundesliga. Anyway, back to the fans, I would say that a good number of them are probably up their own arse. They think they should be winning everything, and anything less is a disappointment. They don't like excuses, and with the board and players etc constantly reinforcing the idea that they're the best in the media, it's hardly surprising!

They sound like any other set of fans of a very succefull club.

I'd say the biggest difference is that they're much more of a standout than others. For example, if you were asked who the biggest club in Spain was in terms of history and everything, you could argue both ways for Real Madrid and Barcelona. Same with England, Man United and Liverpool. Then you've got Italy with Juve, and the Milan clubs. But in Germany there really is no competitor for Bayern, and the fans are sure aware of this. Imagine supporting a team where no other fan in the country can really argue their team against yours :p
