Injuries, and a CL qualifier which takes place during the Olympics will be of concern...its not like it matters, the Olympics lost credibility years ago (and kissing the arse of a major human rights violator, yet again, hasn't help) and its not as though Brazil are strapped for players.

Maybe its a ploy to force him out. If he is rejecting the clubs that come in for him (Man City £200 grand a week) maybe Barca have said well if you stay you can't play at the olympics, so you better start being reasonable and move on. Just a thought.
