make that 5-1 after 28mins.! Atletico's defending is absolutely abysmal, we think ours is crap. Ujfalusi and Heitinga are a real pair of clowns at the back, reckon it will finish 7-2

Finished 6-1 after a sublime finish from Henry.

Atletico were shocking.

they had an off day and bth. barca really stepped their game up, they probably felt they had something to prove after their (also) weakest start in the league ever.

I also think Heitinga is a better RB than CB especially when adapting to a new league. Ujfalusi had a worse game. Messi was out of this world last night though, best player in the world

Messi just played an amazing game. He is one of the most consistant players I've ever seen. Rarely does a game pass him by, just superb. As for Atleti I think that was just a real bad day at the office for them. They were shell-shocked after conceeding the first few goals then they just sort of gave up.

It was great fun to watch, but there was some truely shocking defending by Atletico. Barca could have had, and maybe should have had, double figures. Iniesta hit the post twice and Messi produced an absolutely mind blowing moment where he beat 4 or 5 men before just clipping the ball wide. Messi was outrageously good. On the other hand Atletico couldn't get Aguero on the ball at all and he was getting increasingly frustrated until he was subbed around the hour mark.

Was a stark contrast to the Lazio and Inter matches I watched earlier in the evening, both of which were awful.
