Is there actually anything in this link? As far as I'm aware, anyone local has said this is all coming from one source, and it's not exactly known for its accuracy. Feel free to correct me if I've missed something.

No idea how anyone is doubting this guy. Just led his team to a South American CL final and was the stand out player.

With that amount of recoveries, interceptions and blocks I assume he just doesn't walk around and point to people, as Dier do.

Copa Libertadores Final 2nd leg is 28/11. If he's leaving I guess we'll hear some news after that.

edit: just seen this on The Guardian website:

The two legs of the final are initially scheduled for 7 November and 28 November but club officials said there could be changes because of a political summit in Buenos Aires. If that is the case, the matches will be moved to 10 November and 24 November.

Doesn't seem very Levy like to pass on a guy and then come back when his price is higher.

I don’t get the resistance to this potential signing (if it’s even remotely likely to happen). This guy covers the ground at pace, breaks up the play, and recycles the ball really well (nothing extravagant, but nothing suicidal from what I’ve seen).

The biggest compliment I can pay him is that he looks very Kante- esque from the little i’ve Seen of him. I actually think he’s exactly what we need in the middle of the park and under Poch’s tutelage he could be a revelation for us. At the prices quoted I see it as a bargain in the current crazy market.

It’s hard to imagine there’s nothing at all in the rumours they’ve been quite persistent for 6 months. And there seems quite an acceptance he is definitely leaving after the copa final.

I do remember reports in the summer that it was close but he wanted to see it out until January after the Copa

Skipp for me is a proper bread and butter defensive midfield.

Onomah is more a deep lying play maker.

I would play Onomah without specialist defensive midfielder / hard working box to box midfielder alongside him (in same way I wouldn’t play Dembele without one).

Hoping to see Skipp given chance in league cup against the spammers and if he looks good maybe he’ll get more opportunities for that defensive midfield slot.

Problem with Onomah is he won't stay deep.

Aren't away fans banned from these matches?
I think I read earlier - that there will be away fans allowed for this - unique for the finals. Might have been the president of Argentina, so maybe it did not happen.

And - it was changed:

Boca Juniors and River Plate have agreed to prohibit away fans from attending both legs of the Copa Libertadores final.

Argentina president Mauricio Macri last week declared he wanted visiting supporters to be able to attend the Superclasico, with only home fans having been present for matches between the two arch-rivals in Buenos Aires since 2014.

The city's security minister Martin Ocampo subsequently stated 4,000 opposition spectators would be present at each leg.

However, Boca and River have reached an agreement contrary to that to avoid restricting the seats available to their followers.

"Boca Juniors and River Plate have reached an agreement for the Copa Libertadores final to be played without the presence of away fans," read a statement released by Boca.
