The other players seem to really love Beckham as well. Anyone actually watching his games? Apart from the recent goals is he playing well?

Hard to watch Italian football apart from streams, if Becks stays I hope ch5 or ch4 buy the rights again.

That goal is pure class. He is a model professional on the pitch, even if he became a bit of a twat off it during his mid 20s.

He is the main symbol and icon of the meteoric rise of the Premier League imo.

Played it very safe in his first game but are starting to show more and more. Looks good.

they are not in the cl this year that's why i said next year. fyi, they are in the uefa cup/europa league.

barcelona are better than any club in the world atm imo, yes even the english. am i wrong?

I know they're not, another reason why it's madness to predict that Milan will all of a sudden be up there with Man United next year.

Barcelona will falter later in the Champions League when they actually have a real test.

Agree Kendall, are Barcelona actually tested in their league?

Once they come up against a strong Premier League, German or Italian team I think they will struggle.

They have actually. The away game at Sevilla was extremely tough for them. Only until Fabiano got sent off, Sevilla were excellent. But Barca were too strong in the end. The closest test Barca have had since their first game of the season, where they suffered their only defeat of the season to Numancia, was against Real Madrid. But again, they proved too good for them. Barca are simply the best team in the world right now. They're set to break all kinds of records and they cant stop scoring.

But saying that, Man Utd are really hitting form now. They are as good at the back as Barca are up top at the moment. So that could be one hell of a game if those 2 meet.

Really though?
I mean are they actually the best team in the world?
They don't seem to have any competition in their own league, although its silly for me to argue any point as I have not seen them play this season.

They have some of the best players in the world all playing at the top of their game. Messi is in a world of his own (think Ronaldo of last season.) Eto'o is at his very best again. Henry has hit the heights he showed at Arsenal. Xavi is better than ever. Iniesta is back and back to his best already. Toure is arguably the best holding player in Europe. And Alves is performing like he did when Sevilla won the UEFA Cup twice and nearly won the League.

I think that, if anybody watches Barca right now they will see why i think they are the best team in the world. What is certain though is that nobody is playing better than them. Words cant describe how good they are this season. I would even go as far as saying they are a better all round team than the team that won the La Liga title and Champions League double.

Thats it, i'm done speaking about how great Barca are. And i've just cum.

you will be so left dissapointed when inter and the spurscommunity's-most-hated own ibrahimovich send man utd. out.

funny how people really think that once barcelona face a supposedly 'real test' in the form of a premiership team that they "obviously" go out. really disrespecting the talents of messi and best euro2008 player xavi, like they don't matter.

You're doing the same thing with the English clubs. Totally discounting the world player of the year and Champions of the world.

I am going on the past few seasons where the English clubs have been getting progressively stronger. Like it or not Barcelona's real test will be against these teams.

You are VERY anti England.

So back to David Beckham........................... He has to force this move through to Milan and i hope he does. Was great going out to LA and seeing him play but then i realised first hand that he was playing the equivalent standard of League 1. Milan will give him the chance to prolong his career at the highest level and get back playing in the CL next season.
