Wouldn't actually want GB back, just don't think he'll ever hit the heights of three seasons ago and I'd worry about the team dynamic.
He has morphed into a 'mini-do' though, I just hope to god he never opens a museum to himself as well...

He wouldn't have to hit the heights to be a great signing.

He'd fit perfectly into our formation. Creates and scores goals. Dribbles and crosses.

Perfect.

I guess in fairness Zidane can pretty much run that dressing room as the best player in it..so maybe they'll respect him. Can always whip out his World Cup medal if Ronaldo gives him grief..

Arsenal are a very well run club, I would say they were more like a combination of City and Chelsea with a bit of Liverpool and Newcastle thrown in.

I'll never forget lasagne-gate. Nor will I forget things like buying their way up from the 2nd division all those years ago. Scummy bastards

Meh. People wear different things in different places - looks pretty normal for Madrid really tbh, wouldn't look twice

I was recently in Madrid and saw nothing like that nonsense that Bale is wearing.

Everyone is free to wear what they want of course, but I am also free to say that his clothes look like a cross between those of Captain Pugwash, Wee Willy Winky, and Cher.

Zidane loves Bale. He was the one spouting all the tapping up shit before he went to Madrid. Remember the 'there is one special player in Europe I love but he's not playing CL' quote a few months before they signed him. He actually said he was talking about Bale and although it could've been the club asking him to say it, he's come out with quotes today:-

Zidane insisted world record signing and Wales international Gareth Bale will remain a key player for the club.

"He's a phenomenal player," said Zidane. "I'm going to give him all the support and love he needs to play well.

"I understand he might be sad about Rafa's sacking because he was an important coach to him, but I will treat him just as well as Rafael did."

-------

I loved Madrid when Beckham played, as well as (fat) Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Raul etc. Loved watching the galacticos but they've turned into a joke. I still want them to do well purely cos I want Bale and Modric to do well but I must admit I'm looking forward to watching them under Zidane. He might actually play Bale in his best position and build the team around him. I know that sounds impossible when Ronaldo's there but I hope he fucking hates Ronaldo and does it to fuck him off. Ronaldo is a seemingly very nice bloke off the pitch but a complete arrogant 'ooh look at me celebrate a penalty like I won the CL by myself even though we were 3 goals up at the time with 2 minutes left' wanker.

Considering both Zidane and Ronaldo have both been at the club a long time, and are both legends of the club I reckon there are very good odds that they fucking hate each other.

Also given they are not going well it could be seen as the perfect time to freshen the team up. Ronaldo to Utd seeming more likely than ever.

Hopefully PSG. Would hate for him to reignite Utd.
