Anyone else notice that the sign behind him says "She ma"? I assume that's She-man. Which I assume is his favourite shop.

They are still a team built on galacticos rather than on team ethic, on spending money rather than developing existing players etc etc.

And they are certainly not a team that would give any manager time to try and implement any sort of philosophy or system.

That's why I think Poch would be exactly what they are not looking for.
I would disagree, to an extent

Who are the galactics's?

Bar Ronaldo, there is a team ethic or was a team ethic to be ronaldo's bitch and feed him whilst cover his inadequacies

Their Galactico's are players who are being told to be team players and play a different way and even then they are a shadow of themselves. Even Rodriguez is struggling to get in the team.

If Ronaldo was to leave at the end of the season to PSG

How many of the remaining players would be true Galactico's?

Im pretty sure you can make a "team" with a good work ethic with the likes of Modric, Kroos, Rodriguez, Bale, Ramos, Varane, Carvajal, Isco, Jese and Morata(iirc they have to buy him back this year)

I think Perez is realising that you can't have the galatico's model when Barca are so strong(unlike the 1st time when barca where facing financial ruin)

I don't think Poch is on the list at the moment as he hasnt achieved anything yet but when he was in spain he wasn't one of the young managers to look out for. If we get 4th or better I can see them looking at him

There has been a growing pressure and noise for Madrid to stop getting rid of their young stars and developing a team

I'm trying to figure out where to put this comedy club. At Madrid, you have a little bit of Liverpool, Chelsea with a smidge of City in there and at the helm of the club a huge fucking dollop of Arseanal.

Why would any manager want to go there ? I suppose the 3 year contract and sacked after 17 wins in 25 games makes the payout sweet as a nut and you know you lose absolutely no credibility at all if you're sacked from Madrid. I think you're losing the credibility if you go there.

Wouldn't actually want GB back, just don't think he'll ever hit the heights of three seasons ago and I'd worry about the team dynamic.
He has morphed into a 'mini-do' though, I just hope to god he never opens a museum to himself as well...

I actually think ZZ will be an excellent coach.

Meh. People wear different things in different places - looks pretty normal for Madrid really tbh, wouldn't look twice

Don't forget he used to play in London so he should know better and has no excuse for embracing eye bleeding Spanish 'fashion'..

After seeing that I'd only take him back if he grew a beard and started his own craft Rarebit restaurant in Enfield.

Any excuse for this classic. Perez was blatantly up late last night watching this before making the appointment.

I actually think ZZ will be an excellent coach.

The problem as i see it is that at Real they don't need a coach they need a manager, too many massive egos.

If that's right that Ronaldo gave them an ultimatum i'd have cashed in on him TBH how many more seasons has he got where you could get a reasonable fee on him?

There're so many weapons grade bell ends in that side that need an arse kicking, not that i care much as i hope that club implodes and Luka and Bale come back to Spurs. (Although Gareth needs a severe manning up first looking at what he's wearing)

Fwiw, I think he'll be successful there. He's got instant respect from the players and fans so he'll get more time than others would have to turn things around. He'll probably centre everything around Modric, which is amazing considering he's just a 5 a side player....

Arsenal are a very well run club, I would say they were more like a combination of City and Chelsea with a bit of Liverpool and Newcastle thrown in.

Their managers don't usually last more than 2 years and it will be no different with ZZ.
I think a Chelsea like decline is hopefully just around the corner for them.

I hope ZZ does well. One of my favourite ever players to watch.

No fan of Madrid but will be watching closely. Although I think I could set that Madrid team up to score 5 goals a game.

He'll command the respect of the players IMO. I have a feeling that he won't take shit from anyone.

I don't that much attention to Real but it seems their owner/president or whatever is also a big part of the problem. Maybe Zidane will be given a bit more power and authority than the previous managers.
