I think that Ramos keeps Berbs off to prevent eventual injury that may break his transfer in the summer. What about you?

Yep it does look a little fishy I must say, sounds like we are playing better without him at the moment, then again maybe its just the opposition.

we can't lose or win nothing after these two games. the players that will be transfered for lot of money mysteriously disappeared...

P.S. Dimitar Who??? We are playing against Reading not United or Chelsea...

seconded -- relegation team that we're dominating with 1 goal?...

Bent obviously shines versus championship defenders -- Ole!!

And, as far as speculation on Berbatov's injury, well, it appears you're shooting for a job with the Sun.

They can only play against the team we are playing. Who knows, the pace and power of Bent may work well against Man U or Chav$ki.

Carragher and Agger (in particular) had a very torrid time trying to cope with Bent when Charlton went to Anfield last season. If he can do it against them he can do it against pretty much anyone.

It is, of course, totally unbelievable that Berbatov really does have a minor groin strain.

I am sorry, he got injured during the warm up, and people get the assumption we're saving him for a transfer.
If that was the case, we wouldn't of let him get kitted up in the 1st place.

You boys just love a conspiracy. Why don't people just take things as they are reported, and not try to read between the lines.

It will be a shame if Ramos hide him in the match with Liverpool. At least for a goodbye with fans. Bent is perspective. But the result against Reading is still 0:1. Berbatov and Lennon are missing but is good training for Bent.

I love a conspiracy theory as much as anyone, but let's at least make it vaguely plausible (I hadn't realised he'd knackered himself during the warm-up).

Apologies if I missed this Beni but did he get injured whilst warming up?

The squad was announced earlier with no Berbatov.
