Give them their due, Beshko, Reading are usually hard work for anyone at the Madejski (don't forget they beat Liverpool 3-1 earlier on this season). They also had a lot more to play for than us.

We've won the kind of game we should be winning, if not as clearly as we ought to have done.

All these Bulgarians (not especially on this board) putting words in his mouth is ridiculous. It's like if all of England had been moaning at Gazza in the early 90s for playing for Lazio because the only Italian teams they knew were Milan and Juve, so it didn't count unless he played for them.

Remember Berbatov turned down Manure to come to us two years ago.

I just think that there is a bit of over-analysing of the situation here.

He's injured. Conspiracy theories are more often than not completely wrong.

if I remember correctly Berbs had a couple of groin strains last season that possibly cost us silverware - I'm always incredibly sceptical of conspiracy theories and prefer to believe simpler more elegant thories - so i'll go along with the groin strain explanation -

the good news is we played very well without him and Bent showed again how especially in away games that his pace is such an asset - had MJ played him up at the Mackems on that fateful august day he still might be in a job

i think you may be right nicdic if he reads some of the stuff on here well he will be wondering is it worth sticking around i just hope everyone at the game next week go out and sing his name til the cant sing anymore as we know we can do, and hopefully he will then feel like he cant leave:pray:
at the end of the day we need him to stay the best player we have had for years and no money can replace that, im going to hate the next few weeks :bang:

Exactly. Bent and Keane put on reasonable performances against about- to- be -relegated Reading and now we don't need Berbatov any more. Now I'm expecting the thread saying we don't need a new keeper because Cerny made a couple of good saves.

He got injured during warm up. Stop the conspiracy theories.
