He's said he doesn't want to go back there with the uprising in the Ukraine. I would expect Shaktar wanting to get roughly what they paid for him but I personally think £20-25m is excessive.
Yep, if we could get him at around 15m he's got to be an option for the LWF berth. (if available of course).

In a world of £25m+ Adam Lallanas, I'd say that's a fair price. The step up in quality when he came on for Hulk was noticeable I thought.

Of course Konoplyanka and Griezmann at £15m a piece are much better value, but that's only because of their contract situations.

Is Griezmann really available for £15m? Why isn't every club in Europe slapping that down right now. Would be amazing value.

As far as I am aware his buyout clause was 30 mill euros, I have no idea what might have changed that, his contract runs till 2016 so not yet at a point where they need to lower their asking price

Think he would be a smart buy for 15 to 22 million.

An attacking 3 of Bernard eriksen Lamela Could be crazy good

Would prefer a few others for that price, including Konoplyanka. But if it came to it, I wouldn't be opposed to the buy.

David Pleat was the commentator on beINsports for the Brazil game

he spoke very highly of Bernard and he even said he went to Brazil to watch him at Atletico Mineiro

given that Pleat seems still connected to the club at some capacity and according to jj that Levy values his opinion , this may be significant

Would be amazing but he's more a LW/LWF and I think was said is Real's top target.

Tends to nominally be a lw/aml, but he can play across the attacking wide or central midfield roles
I haven't seen any recent links to Real, Bilbao want him to sign a new contract as I think his current deal ends next summer and they can offer CL next season and it's his boyhood club.
I think now Bielsa has gone and Valverde is back he'll probably be inclined to stay

I'd suspect Munian will stay at Bilbao this upcoming year. What's he going to do, play behind Ronaldo in his favored position while his boyhood club are in the Champions League?

Levy didn't want to pay over £15m last summer so I doubt he will now. And i'm sure that Shaktar will at least want to make back the £22million they paid for him.

Thought was decent tonight. Quite a few good balls into the box and some nice passes. More impressed with him tonight than that selfish fool Neymar

Apart from one bit of horrendous control towards the end i thought he was very good. Set up two very good goal scoring opportunities with a fine left footed cross and a great through ball. Hope to see him start in the next game.

Yeah the more I see him play the more I like him. He was even back putting a tackle in on Brazil's bye line, but most importantly he finds good positions, is intelligent and creates opportunities.
He's not perfect yet, but at 21 there seems so much potential there

Having 19-23 year olds in the Brazilian, Argentinian, English, Danish and Algerian national teams that usually get some game time (when fit) cant be too bad for us :wideyed:
