In terms of forwards, In his prime it was Robben, he was fucking mustard, better than Bale, worked harder too.
Thats debatable, sure he worked hard under Heynckes but before that final season he was really lazy and had a shocking season before they won the treble, arguably his fault bayern lost the CL and Pokal cup

I totally agree he was the reason they won that treble both him and Ribary changed their attitude to how to play the game and made the team better however it was one great season.

Im just stating that lets not forget that the problem with Robben was that he was lazy and didnt track back, which was highlighted for the Euro's 2012 and World Cup. Not to mention the fact he did have bit of an attitude problem

Not necessarily the best but of those not mentioned on the list; Suarez, Douglas Costa and Modric are 3 of the players I most enjoy watching

Edit; It's late and I clearly didn't pay much attention to the title of the thread, De Bruyne for me and I'll change my vote :D

It wasn't just one season, he improved his work rate over 2 or 3 seasons with Bayern and it continued under Guardiola when not injured.

And if we are talking creative players about 50% of the players on that list - and especially Ronaldo and Bale at RM who are excluded from that list - are varying degrees of lazy without the ball. Most of them have never got to the level Robben reached in the last 4/5 years in terms of work off the ball.

Lewandowski, Aguero, Muller stand out for me and I'd personally add Hummels to that list - IMO he's the best defender in the world

Harry Kane is the best and if he played for Barca or Madrid he'd be the best on their teams too.

This surprises me, to be honest. I mean Robben was phenomenal (still handy), but you always seem more into team playing technicians, and to me Robben has always very much been an individualist, more likely to shoot than pass to a better placed team-mate.

Mine is Augero. If he wasn't so injury-prone, would probably be at Real by now.

I went for Kane. I don't watch enough non-Premier League football to be able to say who the best player abroad is. The reason I chose Kane is because he's the most reliable striker in the league. Aguero is brilliant, but his injuries mean that you can't rely on him for the whole season. If he'd stayed fit all season then City probably would have won the league. Kane reminds me so much of Alan Shearer and is already ahead of his goal total at the same age, but taking less games to do it in. Considering his age, his goals record, and his overall work rate and team play it's hard to find a better player in the league.

Actually a really tough question! A couple years back I would have said Ibra or Robben, but I think both are slightly over the hill at this point. Probably Aguero or Lewandowski.
