Is it me or does Tim Sherwood get better and better when he is unemployed?

When we sacked him no one cared. Then he was getting linked to loads of jobs and his appointment by villa was heralded as an example of trusting young managers.

Then he was shit got sacked and everyone knew he was shit. Now Villa are really struggling and people are starting to think he might no have been that bad after all!!

Tim Sherwood is a terrible manager. However, no manager would do well with Villa. They have a beyond shit team

Still on the stunning 4pts from 10 games form Sherwood left them on, but their GD has got even worse proportionally, get him back in!

It's similar to how an ugly person becomes more attractive the longer it is since you last had a shag...

He didn't exactly himself in glory with some of the transfers at Villa though.

I think he did come out and say he didn't have full control on the transfers, mind you he might be better off keeping his mouth shut otherwise he might make it look like he wasn't responsible for signing Jordan Ayew, who has been by far Villa's best player this season.

A back four of Richards, Lescott, Richardson and Hutton? All past their prime and washed up. Gestede up front is complete shit too. Garde must be a twat as well. He's completely frozen out Agbonlahor when really he's needs every bit of help he can get.

Goodbye Villa. For years they were always handing out hammerings to us. How the mighty have fallen.

I think I saw that the owner Lerner run some US baseball team into the ground as well. Fuckwit.

From the Villa supporters i know, the freezing out of Agbonlahor by Sherwood and Garde is warranted from the aspect that they think he is just a shit footballer. They basically say they really like Gabby, love what he has done for the club, love his loyalty and fight but don't think he should be anywhere near the pitch.

Thought that was surprising because a fair few of the players look like they shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch and Agbonlahor at least looks like he cares.

But Villa are done regardless of who is in charge.

Nah, he owned the Cleveland Browns (NFL) until 2012, they were consistently horrible. They've been a bit better since he left but not much. Regardless, he's a horrible owner and should definitely sell them to someone who cares.

Villa have been going downhill and losing their better players for the last few years - last summer they lost Benteke (decent source of goals), Vlaar (decent CB) and Delph (their berst CM) - so the spine of the team. Brought in a few older heads who are way off their best Richards. Lescott and a few younger players but certainly no replacement for the quality of the ones they lost.

Lambert would probably have taken them down last season, Sherwood kept them just above the drop last season, but ultimately the players they had both last season and this season aren't good enough as a squad. Not particularly Sherwood''s fault - an accumulation of lots of mistakes at Villa over years

O'Neill had them playing well - but with a team that couldn't be supported by the club's finances so was sold off after O'Neill left. Since then they've generally not bought well and have not brought through any of their own youth, so the squad's got worse and worse - the rot and mismanagement has been going on for a few years. Just a question of when they are going down - this TW is their last chance to bring in players to keep them up (possibly on loan as no players will want to join permanently when Villa are so many points off safety) but probably better for them to prepare for the Championship.

I liked it when he was asked about whether Alli had the 'devil' in him and he said, "no I think that's created by the media."

Followed up by him saying, "he's got everything. he's got skill...he's got a little bit of the devil in him....."

He's basically a complete charlatan. I hope he's never on MOTD again and I fear for anyone he ever coaches.
