During the summer of 2011, Mr Steve Kean was this Club’s manager and accompanied the players of Blackburn Rovers on a pre-season tour of the Far East.
Whilst in Hong Kong, Mr Kean was in a bar and falsely alleged that Sam Allardyce, our previous manager, was sacked by us because he was a crook.
This is completely false and we apologise to Mr Allardyce for the embarrassment and distress caused to him by Mr Kean.
Only 18 months late...

The statement went on to read"It is correct that he still is a fat **** however".
It must be an awful disadvantage for Sam being called a crook what on earth would the porno twins think of him.

Sam is like Harry when it comes to agents, he has his favourites and seems to sign a lot of players with the same agent. I wonder why. His son is also a registered agent!

There is a guy/former agent on twitter called Peter Harrison who has been very critical of Bolton/Blackburn and Sam in particular. In 2006 there was a panorama documentary about bungs and Harrison was secretly filmed saying that they paid Craig Allardyce money to pass to Sam for a player.

Whether all that is true, who knows... but what a strange thing for Blackburn to release. It's very late, if they were serious about it they could have done it at the time - or privately - or left it alone instead of dragging it back up again. Especially as the allegation probably has some grains of truth to it. The Stevens enquiry into football corruption raised concerns about the conflict of interest between father football manager and son agent.

Sam's current favourite agent is Mark Curtis. His own agent. As well as Matt Jarvis, Andy Carroll, Nolan, Tomkins, Collison.
