Bond - Redknapp Spat?

I watched the Norwich game on a stream on my PC and was amazed when during the second half the camera panned in on Kevin Bond who was making his way from the Spurs bench over to 'arry who was in his technical area with his hands in his pockets. It seemed as if Bond was offering some advice/telling 'arry what to do but Redknapp rebuffed him in no uncertain terms. This would tie in with what I've read in other posts that Redknapp perservered with his beloved 4-4-2 despite the protestations of his coaching staff. Anyone else witness what I saw? Better still can anyone supply a link to this second half incident?

redknapp implied after the game that the players were not good enough/clever enough to implement a 4-4-2 properly and recover positions quickly after losing the ball. maybe thats why he refused to change formation, a lesson for the players perhaps, that he will not help them every time they get in a mess because they are not doing their jobs to a high enough standard.

its not about helping players - or teaching them a lesson though. WE are a team! If he has to bail someone out then so be it, if he has to hold their hands and explain to them in simple instructions what he expects of them - then he should do it.

If he has played a formation which doesn't suit the players on the pitch - and it isn't working, he should change it.

What I personally took from his after match interview was that player power maybe decided the formation. He said - "people tell me we are better when we play 442, but we are too open". By people - I expect he meant players - senior players who maybe think they know better. I didnt see the bond incident, but i had to pop out halfway during the second half, missing a fair bit of action.

It was quite embarrassing actually. Paul Lambert was bouncing up and down in his technical area issuing instructions to various different players, looking like he had a game plan and wanted his players to stick to it. Redknapp had his hands deep in his pockets and was quiet as a mouse looking as if he didn't have a clue what to do. Along came Bond pointing and making his point but was immediately rebuffed by Redknapp. I read the situation as Redknapp thinking "I'm the flipping Manager how dare you try and tell me, the people's choice for England, what to do!"

Any players in the squad who think we are stronger without a fit VDV in the line up need their faces smashed in.

I think he's lost the plot .... Quite simply England can have him .. He has taken us as far as he can ... Come the Euros, I would love to see England knocked out at the Group stages .. Sorry nothing personal - Want to see 'Arry out !

International football would suit him down to the ground.

It seems that the conditioning of the players is a real issue at the moment; he wouldn't have this sort of problem at international level, bcos that would be taken care of at club level. Essentially, all that is needed is someone to pick the team, do the arm around the players and set the formation. He would be good at the first 2 and he'd get by with the tactics.

I genuinely would like to know if the level of compensation required, to release him from his contract, is linked to where we finish in the league.

Oh and meant to mention that I also noticed (and it was picked up by the commentators too, that Trevor twat who hates us!) that Lambert was heavily involved, where Redknapp was indeed hands-in-pockets... Dare I say it - has he lost the passion?

The way the team has played lately, it is almost as if they know something about Harrys future that the rest of us are not privy to.

No passion, desire or ideas.

Its becoming a sad sad season that had so many highs.

Bond doesn't really want to fall out with Redknapp, as without Redknapp he's unemployable.

Every time there's an international tournament, we seem to be hearing that the players are running on fumes because they haven't had a winter break and so on.
