Booking fee for tickets!

I know it has been around for a while but why the hell do WE need to pay a booking fee for tickets online?

Is it not enough i pay £45 for a membership, i pay £28 upwards for a ticket, and they still have a booking fee? Its a joke, i know its a small amount of about £2 but its ridiculous, its not like someone is sitting there watching a screen going "Oh... mrs potts, we have another sale!" "QUICK BOY, GET A PEN AND WRITE OUT A TICKET"

I have ordered online.... i have not spoken to anyone or used up anyones time other than my own, yet i pay for a booking fee. And you get that even with or without getting it sent by post.... which is another thing! Why the bloody hell is it £1 postage? Isnt 1st class 27p?

I hate paying online booking fees for anything. Cinema tickets and concert tickets often charge an extra 5-10% for the priviledge of booking online. Surely it's far easy for them if we book online. It seems to be one of those fees that is just charged because it can be.

The strange thing i found last season was that even though i always book the tickets online the booking fee varied between £1-£2 per ticket for seemingly no reason! I'm sure i paid £1, £1.50 & £2 despite always booking online!:shrug:

the booking fee depends on the cost of the ticket, the higher the price the more the card companies (1 to 2.5%) and automated service company charges the club for its services.

£1 postage is standard throughout PL clubs, it covers handling costs etc, franking costs (no its not feasible to use stamps)
