All booked up on a train from London to Brussels then on to Dortmund from there. Touch down at 14:15 on match day at the train station and we booked a cheeky Airbnb apartment 10 mins taxi ride from the station

Absolutely buzzing can't wait for this. Only downside is no guarantee of tickets as all 3 of us are members with around 140 LPs.

Is it safe to sit in the home end if we do not get spurs tickets?

I'm not one for conspiracies but it seems very fixed that Liverpool play united and we managed to draw Dortmund whilst all the lesser teams play each other.
What would be the benefit of fixing the draw that way?

Surely if UEFA were to fix the draw they'd do so to allow all the biggest teams to avoid one another and meet in the latter stages to increase the overall reputation and perceived value of the competition

Having big matches in the semis and finals would be the way to make fans interested and watch across Europe. Man U vs Dortmund for example would be a massive final where as Braga vs Sevilla would have only a fraction of the viewing figures

Better than Reus v. Walker. And that's no knock against Walker - I just think that Trippier has been the better player this season.

But we're better than one player v. another. Defensively, were on another level right now, and I'm not fearful of Dortmund's quality.
Nah, Walker's been very good defensively this season and we'd need his pace against Dortmund's attack.

They are a lot of people's favourite "second" team and you can see why. Brilliant fans and stadium and they play some really entertaining football. This is the sort of club we should be looking to realistically compete against with the new stadium. Not quite top tier (Barca, Bayern, Madrid) but perfectly capable of European and domestic success..

Anyone watching their game right now on BT Sport Europe? Losing 1-0 to Hoffeheim at home at half time, so similar situation to ourselves. Will be interesting to see if they can comeback like us. Atmosphere is amazing.

Just had some ridiculous favouritism by the ref. Red card and should go on to win now, despite not deserving anything.

I'd like to know the probability of getting tickets in the Dortmund end. Is it possible? Will they check passports and say no English in the German end etc?

I watched the first half of Dortmund v Hoffenheim yesterday. There's not much to say about their game, they just looked tired and played quite badly on the first half. Eventually they won it, so propably played better on the second half. But what really caught my eye was the pitch. It looked very soft and that might be an issue for us when we usually run a lot and move the ball quickly.

Am I the only one that could not give a fuck about these games?,

Other than going to their ground being a great day out, we have our best chance at winning the league for 45 years. Fuck this joke of a cup. It's been the bane of Spurs for years. We have 11 cup finals, we don't need to add another 7 to the mix.

We had another really sloppy start and lots of poor finishing on Sunday against a really poor side, and you can't help thinking with that extra nth degree of sharpness we win that game by 5 or 6 had we not played so hard on Thursday.

Team for the Comedy cup...... Anyone you want, but I wish he would leave Lloris, Toby, Dembele, Alli and Kane well away from it so we can dream of the greatest achievement in many of our lifetimes.

We have nothing to lose in this tie. Losing to Dortmund isn't upsetting, while no more Thursday games. Win, and belief is high within the squad even more so after putting out the favourites for the competition. Under Poch there is no 'comedy cup'. All the players want to play. These two games against Dortmund can also be seen as a taste test for CL next season. I don't want us to throw that away. Besides, the games after each leg are Bournemouth and Villa. Both winnable.

We're trying to create a winning mentality at the club, throwing away a competition at this stage is the opposite.

I'm well happy we've drawn them.

I want to see how we get on against teams like this, as next season we're probably going to be (censored due to not wanting to tempt fate)...

I was in Dortmund for a night in September, on a match day (sadly couldn't attend). The sea of luminous yellow at the main station an hour before kick-off was a real sight to behold, and the stadium looks magnificently imposing, from the train coming in anyway! I didn't realise it's the biggest stadium in Europe.

All over the city there's Borussia-related stuff, shops, billboards, they're absolutely obsessed with them. Like a much, much more impressive Newcastle.

This. Winning is a habit and it creates confidence. Poch will not let them get over confident and will keep them taking just the one game at a time. The reverse side of the coin is that losing could be the start of losing momentum and at the stage of the season that would be disastrous, we have been there not too long ago and we don't want to go down that road again!

Would your opinion be the same if we drew Braga or Basle?

Given a choice, would you sacrifice points in the league in post EL games (Statistically proven) to win the Europa league?
The fact taht we have dropped points in the past after Europa games is not proof that we will in the future.

If you're not going to compete in Cups, especially as we near the end FFS, then what's the point in being in them at all?!

Its only like 5 extra games now, if we get to the final.

I don't care about testing out what the Champions league is like next year (which we are effectively already in) That is so far detached from the potential achievement of winning the league.

We already play top top teams in the league. The CL has maybe 4-5 teams better than what we already play. The chances are we MIGHT play 1, or 2 of them. We might get a shit group and not get through. who cares, either way if we win the league?!?!

We won't win the Champions league. We will get a nice pay day of 25-30 which we will just spend on wages to increase the squad anyway. I will take winning the league over the pay day thank you. I'm a football fan, not a bank balance fan.

Speaking like a Kardashian is not befitting of a male adult. :)

It's 7 games to win the Europa league. Last 16, last 8, Last 4, final.

Had Rudy not been sent off, Hoffenheim was matching to them.. Dortmund's DM and defence can be casual at times.. If our pressing are executed ruthlessly, we definitely have our chances..

Just did a bit of digging, for this seasons performances post Europa.

It's all very patchy, and in keeping with previous seasons. But this isn't a previous season. This is a season which could prove to be extraordinary. This is a season where we won't be potentially throwing away a CL place and some cash, but the greatest moment in our football supporting lives.

Palace at home in the league. Substandard, nicked a goal
Swansea away. Poor performance, needed 2 freek kicks to get us out of trouble.
Bournemouth away. Very good win, helped with Boruc throwing 3 in.
Arsenal away. Battered them for 70 minutes, tired in last 20.
Chelsea at home. Lacklustre
Newcastle at home. Beat at home by a team in abysmal form, in the last 10 minutes.
Palace in the cup. Maybe the worst home performance of the season, lost to a side in freefall.
Swansea at home. Poor start against a poor poor team. Could have been 2 down but for Lloris. Great 2nd half.

So what do we blame the draw and defeat to Leicester on, the defeat to man u, draws against Stoke, Liverpool, Everton.

It's too easy to cherry pick and blame europa for win we don't win
