But Son is an unprofessional twat to fall for it. Fair play Bournemouth targetted him and the knobhead bit. Son needs to hang his head in shame
The fuck is this sort of shit?

Fuck off with this then, bigger fool ref for not protecting a player against that sort of shit or are our players above that?

It’s shitty but it doesn’t change what happened next, it just explains it and the card will stand
And unfortunately Son let us down by getting a needless booking against Shitty City which ruled him out of the home tie against Ajax. If we had him in that game who knows what we may have achieved. So absent from the Ajax game, absent from half of this game and absent from the Everton game - all vital games. I love him to bits but he may contribute to us missing out on a CL final and a top four place by his irresponsible actions. Let’s hope not. In fact I predict that he will score on Wednesday to help us reach the final and then Kane will come off the subs bench to get the winner against Everton and secure a top four place. You read it here first!

Im sure we’ve all said it but whoever let Dembele go in Jan with our squad already thin and zero transfer activity - needs to be heavily garrotted. Criminal !

Mate, opposition target players all the time. Key is not to fall for it. Son did
I agree. Son’s not an inexperienced naive squad player. He’s captain of Sth. Korea and a vital cog in Spurs first eleven. He should know better and act accordingly/responsibly. He owes his team mates a huge apology and an even bigger performance on Wednesday to get us into the CL final.

Ref didn't protect him when Lerma body checked him, Sonny, like most human beings isn't going to keep his head forever.

I don't see Spurs targeting players tbh, seems a bit daft if you ask me ...

Owning a season ticket doesn't really earn you the right to anything, there's plenty by all accounts that go to games and sit on their phones for 90 minutes, they own tickets too.

I personally don't see how you can care enough about something to be riled by it but not enough to watch it over a film you can go see any time, but we can agree to disagree.

Actually my mate had booked tickets to the IMAX in Waterloo to see it before the game was moved from the Monday to the Saturday. And if you've ever seen any of my posts about going to the matches I sit up in East Upper trying to get songs going.

What's gone wrong? I'm tempted to start a thread on it but until the season's finished it'd be tempting fate and would look like we're disciples of the knee and we don't need to do that.

Lost Dembele, Wanyama, Walker and effectively Rose as he's half the player he used to be. So half a team of players who were either the best in their position in the league, or very close to it. Replaced them with worse players, or didn't replace them at all. World Cup / no preseason led to a fitness and injury crisis that's lasted the entire season, which Poch said would happen at the beginning of last summer, so we had to have a great summer transfer window to counteract that. Obviously then we instead decided to sign nobody. And as a byproduct of signing nobody, some of our existing players have grown too comfortable and gone stale.

All of which adds up to us not being very good any more.

A number of hours have passed. I still can’t believe what happened earlier.

I've just been in a state of nothingness since the game. I'm not visually thinking back on it, but my mind can't quite seem to move on from it to focus on anything else. Shit feeling.

We were in the title race until January.

We are in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

We are, by any and every measure, "good". Maybe not "good enough" but certainly "good".

We have fallen in a heap in the league at the end of a very long and trying season.

I can't believe how willing Spurs fans are to shit on this team. Just dump tonnes of shit on a team that is in the semi final of the CL despite having no midfield, and lost the best striker in the world. Incredible.

It still beggars belief that we went to friendly Bournemouth on a nice sunny day, when they have their beach bags packed and ready, and we need one win to secure CL. And we implode and get 2 sent off, knackered out the remaining 8 outfielders, and lose it at the last. A very Spursy start to a huge 3 game week. What a shit show.

you got to appreciate that we only scored one goal in 450 min of play, I could go on an on, but we just to hope they can get the heads to together and do this Wednesday, but I wouldn't put money on it

Why are you arguing the toss over this Tash? Bollocks to that, it's a waste of time. You got nothing to prove or justify to anyone, you've shown your support and how much Spurs means to you in loads of posts over the years, you don't need to justify anything.

Isn’t a strange feeling to be desperate for this season to end, despite still having a CL semi final left to contend?

It really was a new low for this team. We have one final home game to win to ensure we finish top four. But i have absolutely no confidence. The team lacks winners.

Fair enough, I hadn't considered that, apologies for jumping to conclusions.
