From what I did see, Tommy Fury looked promising enough for a debut. Not special, but potential is there if he gets the right fights.

Nathan Gorman (UD) was impressive against a guy who went the distance with Joseph Parker before, big Romanian guy...Gorman showed fast hands and feet for not looking athletic, started really well but faded.

The David Price stoppage against Tom Little was poor, ref waved it off way too early...also thought the Buatsi steamrollering punch on the break was a bit stinky...Hearn was getting it pretty tight from the crowd!

Michael Conlan looked very slick against Jason Cunningham who gave him a good test...skills, but seems to lack a bit of KO power.

Edwards v Rosales was a good fight, thought Edwards deserved it alright, worked his socks off and boxed off Rosales.

Thought the point deductions made Del Boy a little bit desperate which led to him getting caught. Great finish by Whyte though.

Going life and death with Chisora, who is shop worn, shows his limitations though. He’s improved and he’s on a good run of results and deserves a title shot but I just don’t want to see a Joshua rematch. Joshua has improved by a distance too when compared to the first fight and despite shipping a big shot against Whyte, Joshua won that comfortably.
I think Joshua could win the rematch early, maybe inside 2-3 rounds if it does happen. Eddie Hearn and his scam artist ways will 100% look to make it though.

Whyte - Ortiz far more interesting as mentioned above.

I got outvoted yesterday and ended up with the Whyte/Chisora card. Sky’s coverage is atrocious. Adam Smith the worst commentator in boxing history and the co-commentary of Froch is just as bad. Joshua was crap too. BT are so much better when it comes to boxing and their set up.

The outcome and even the highlights don't do these two justice. They were working 100% from the off, such an impressive fight from both corners. Definite contender for FotY, how it went 12 rounds I will never know.

Cause neither are particularly heavy punchers, i think the commentator said that Frampton has only one knockout since he moved up in weight and Warrington has only a low 20s % ko rate. Points was always a likely outcome. Decent scrap though, and Warrington's intensity from the off set up that win for him, Frampton needed to respond sooner and it was mid fight before he got a hold in it. It was already too late then.

Warrington's workrate was mental from the first bell almost right through. Lots of shots hitting the guard etc. but he never stopped and barely slowed down until the later rounds.

Far more enjoyable to see two fighters showing a bit of love and respect before and after a fight than this whole WWE-esque shite that goes on.

Sounds like Carl knows he should hang them up soon, hope he's enough money to do that, as he has been great for boxing.

Also good to see one of the Charlo's losing, can't take to them at all. American fighters at the top of their game rarely come across well to me.

I do love Frampton, a lot of people seemed to underestimate Warrington though - maybe perception will change now. Both great fighters and I prefer those types of fights, as part of me always worries about the big heavy bastards giving each other brain damage when they put them out cold.

Always loved Carl as he's a local guy and a great boxer, but I thought he was on the decline when I saw the Donaire fight. There are probably a couple of fights left in him, but he'd be crazy to take a rematch after that and honestly I think his heart's not in it anymore. Appeared quite emotional in some interviews in the aftermath and I think he might retire.

I knew Warrington was a good fighter, but he impressed me a lot last night. Again, the work he put in was crazy and I certainly underestimated his power. Buzzed Frampton a good few times and he has a solid chin! Thought it was such a good fight as both fighters showed tonnes of heart. Might have been a different fight if Warrington hadn't hurt him in the 2nd, but he came out so strong.

Speaking of working hard, I found this recently...Big Frank is keeping himself in fairly good shape for 55 years old! (1 and a half years old footage!)

Holy shit like! Know what I mean 'arry!?

Warrington has achieved more than I thought he would. Very popular too. One thing is for sure, he’ll never leave the ring wondering if he could have done anymore!! He leaves it all in there

I suspect there’s less injuries in the heavier weights. The big boys aren’t usually all that active and don’t take anywhere near as many shots as the smaller chaps do. They also don’t have to worry with weight draining, which can be dangerous.

De Gale vs Eubank Jr confirmed.
Sat 23rd Feb.....on ITV Box Office.

Sorry but there's no justification for it being on Box Office. No title, just an all-british clash. Wankers.

It's almost like they want people to try and find other ways of watching fights.

Eubank needs a win in a decent fight, will need a massive performance.

I actually feel. A little sorry for chunky.. Never got in on the whole groves /froch /kessler malarkey when he had the right and his promotor should have been breaking the door down for a shot at either froch or kessler.
Both don't appeal to me as a pairing that warrants ppv... Marketing gone silly and will make fight night less appealing.

Eubank is not a world class fighter, he's going to lose and should retire after that.

Eubanks three problems A. hes not a Super Middleweight, B. has limited boxing ability and C. he has no real power. A shame really as he has a great chin and decent amount of heart and fitness, if he was matched properly against come forward fighters and stayed at Middle he could probably do well, however he should get outboxed by De Gale imo.
