No way am I paying for it, as much as I'd love to see Mayweather get knocked out it's not even going to be close, McGregor wouldn't even beat your average professional boxer nevermind one of the best ever.

Mayweather should not have brought hid daughter to the press conference . I felt bad for him no child wants to hear thier parent being abused verbally.

Connor got off very.lightly indeed, no one in the media has really grilled him about his dancing monkeys comment, which is the most damaging thing he said. Floyd will get more stick from the media for calling him a faggot.

I read that. If that's what he said then he's a bigger prick than he seems. They are both a couple of absolute wankers with actually very little about them. McGregor is talked about as being a character etc, but his whole persona is carefully managed. The beard, tats, clothing etc, when you actually read the stuff he comes out with it's boring, he just shouts it loud and has an accent. Today that equals "major personality" I guess!
Floyd has always been a boring bloke, hence why his whole image is based on being rich. It's all very WWE storyline.

Muhammad Ali, these two most certainly are not!

Thing is, the media love Conor and he's a fan favourite and it's seemingly getting him a bit of a pass. The 'dance for me boy' comment I can completely look past, that's something that could be said without any racial discriminatory undertone at all to be honest, but the dancing monkeys comment doesn't look good at all. I've never had any sort of hatred for Mayweather and he's certainly not a likeable character but to be honest I'm starting to feel the same way about McGregor.

After all this it just makes you think that neither are very likeable characters but the media will still always have a love in for McGregor regardless as he almost represents what's 'in' in todays society. The slick haircut, muscles, tattoo's etc. Pretty sad really.

Agree even the half black thing, I could get past but for someone who claims to be multicultural, he should know better than to call black people monkeys.

Floyd has a good point, he was outspoken and was flash long before Connor did it, he never got any adulation for it though.

Yeah, the half black thing just felt very immature if anything to me, it's like a 'joke' I would have expected to hear when back at school or college. But yeah like said, the monkey comment wasn't right, but also notice how the media and general public don't wish to dwell on that at all, they only wish to dwell on how he 'destroyed Mayweather with insults and jokes' in the conferences.

And without a doubt, I don't want to continue playing on the issue of race, but if Mayweather looked and sounded like McGregor I really believe the perception of him would have been very different and a lot more positive throughout his career.

Spot on. if McGregor was black, his press would be a lot more negative. Disgusting really but thats the world we live in unfortunately.

His insults and jokes are actually fucking terrible when you read them, and theres no delivery possible to make them remotely funny either. It's basically consisted of 'Floyd is short', 'Floyd is a slaphead', 'Floyd is a bitch'. You have people literally wanking themselves off shouting 'crazy bantz bro!!!!' etc when they see it/hear it though!
I remember the massive reaction to when he and Diaz threw bottles at each other. People going wild over what Connor was saying...turns out all he was saying was 'you'll do fucking nothing'

Manufactured pair of ****s. Actually, manufactured pair of very rich ****s!(y)

McGregor said "I'm half black, from the waist down."

Guessing it's in reference to the stereotype that black men have big dicks.
Pathetic

That's the problem with this over kill press conference tour

Both Conor and Floyd having to come up with too much material and ultimately both just being boring, silly and repetitive

At the end of the day there's not a lot worth saying that Conor can say to Floyd, he's a huge under dog and way out of his depth skill wise

The only thing to be said of any substance is "it it were a mma fight..." but that's been said, and it's not a mma fight so that's irrelevant too really

I saw Conor grinding his hips for his black female fans - wanna be Rick Rude

So Jorge Linares v Luke Campbell has been confirmed for 23rd September. I cannot see anything other than a Linares win.

Not looking good for Broner tonight. Has to get a knockout to win. Being thoroughly out boxed through 8, IMO

Wlad has retired, so no rematch.

Right decision from him IMO. I don't think he fancied another go with Joshua (who could blame him) and he'll retire with a lot of respect. Just a massive shame that Fury beat him. Thought Joshua showed him a huge amount of respect which was no less than Klitschko deserved.

He should've beaten Joshua, though. But I guess you're right, he just didn't fancy it.
