So did you back 'em? You can only come on here swinging your dick if you backed 'em!
I agree with those who think we should still have been more professional and not let the 2-0 advantage slip so pathetically to the worst team in Premiership this season. Even 2-2 would have been acceptable in the circumstances. As someone said, the team should have tried a bit more at least for the 3000 loyal fans who still travelled up north even though they could have easily decided it was "meaningless" and not bother.
Chelski, Man U and Arsenal did not stop playing after it was clear they did not have to do much else today (after 2-0). Aston Villa, Liverpool, Man City were not really at the races. I would have preferred if Spurs could have actually shown they are closer to the truly top teams now, rather than to the also-rans. Would have been a good statement of new, more professional Spurs.
I'm a little bit worried at Lennon's reluctance to run at defenders, many times he could have gotten at Fox(?) but time and time again he just played it back to Kaboul, I know he's been out for a long time but he's not going to get back to his best(1st half of this season) if he just plays it safe every time.
I am aware he set up Bale's goal btw
Whatever…
We knew we had fourth, let's not agonise.
Not reallyDoes anyone really care about today?
I feel exactly the same Michey. I'm over it, whereas if it was during the season, even with us being say 6th with nothing to play for, I'd be annoyed all week.
Fact is we finished top 4 and that's a great achievement but seeing the same old spurs underestimate their opponents and come unstuck so spectacularly is dissappointing because you know the other top teams would have still been professional and done their job.

I think yesterday was only the 2nd time in the Premier League that the top 2 teams both won on the final day.Actually, K., I've United doing exactly the same thing AFTER securing the title.
