Callum has only been to 2 Spurs games since his accident.
Away to Sunderland which was a draw, and this weekends win against Newcastle.

There are no expectations for freebies. We are just grateful that Callum is physically capable to attend the matches at all! He is a lucky mascot whatever in our eyes.

A win at home against Hull would be magnificent though. And Callum would be quite happy to accept responsibility for that I'm sure!!!!

really hope he has a great day whatever the score. when you consider what the young lad went through, moaning about a game of football is so trivial

I'm after some advice and guidance please.
We would like to go for something to eat with Callum prior to the match.
We were thinking of getting off at seven sisters tube.
Can you recommend a pub / suitable restaurant for us.
Many thanks
Nicola

I would have thought it would be better to eat somewhere else around London before heading to Seven Sisters. Might be a bit quieter and more suitable.

We are getting a train to Finsbury Park. And then the tube to seven sisters.
Plan to get to the area early so that we can have something to eat and visit the club shop. Make the most of the day!
Any recommendations near either station would be appreciated.

not sure your find pub restaurants on a match day

there are plenty of eateries near the ground, that do sittings but its on a 1st come 1st serve and usually junk food

can't beat chick king but that's no seating

He is fully mobile!
And is now training with a local football team for high funtioning disabled kids - for 5 hours a week!
He will manage the walk. Though it would have been nice to stop somewhere for something to eat and drink before the match.
Rethinking that plan now.

been a long time since I came to a match from that way, but pub restaurants in an area has lost a lot of pubs over last 10 years are pretty rare. even if they deal in food, i'd doubt they would on a football day.

might be an idea to start another thread asking about places to sit and eat on a match day, might get a better response from those that go that haven't visited this thread

I'd get there really early and head the other way from Finsbury Pk towards Islington, loads of places to eat there and it's much nicer...

Get off at King's X and go to the Euston Flyer beforehand. You can jump on the tube from King's X to seven sisters then get the overground o WHL, saves the walk.

Last time I was down, I walked from Seven Sisters and found a cafe half way to the ground on the right hand side. Did all day breakfasts, pie and chips etc.

Might not be part of your planned route, and may not be to your taste...whenever I take my lad to a home game we park up near Enfield Town train station and get some food and drink in The George which is about 200 yards from the station then we jump on a train to White Hart Lane (2 stops) - pretty straightforward trip.

I think The George is a Weatherspoons as well...so not expensive and plenty of seating.

The food in The Beehive is really good on a match day and there are usually a few free tables inside or in the beer garden, they also occasionally have some form of food 'pop up' in the garden. Nice polite staff, friendly punters and a good music selection. It's just off the high st. pretty much halfway between the ground and seven sisters station (bout 10 minutes walk).

Thanks for all your advice. You may be able to tell I like to have a plan - and now I have one!
Gonna travel via Enfield. It'll be nice as that's where my family is originally from.
Thanks again x x
